"The snow began to fall again, drifting against the windows, politely begging entrance and then falling with disappointment to the ground."

This quote fits perfectly with the surrounding I am in right now, it's belongs to the book I just took from the library. Today like everyday is boring it's just that I've come to my school trip near Mount Kore it's obvious that living in small town filled with rich kids everyone would prefer some place luxurious yet in the wild I love the snow but the forest creeps me out and from the window the wide forest and the Mount Kore is all that is visible.

Oh my!! It's so beautiful the Mountain stands peacefully with in the darkness as if it's used to it just like me standing there all alone, but I don't think self pity really helps besides I need to get all cheery I have to go down and play 'truth or dare' with my friends. This place is remote and doesn't have wifi or network so our teach suggested we do group activity and my Ohh so smart  friends suggested 'truth or dare'.

Around 10 o' clock we finished our dinner and headed towards the common room, some of us including my group went out in the front garden of the lounge it's cold but there's no snow fall. Mark and Eric made their way in the front to the wood stands and started building fire there, as Kate and Robin walked beside me we gathered around the boys to look what has been taking them so long to build a fire, seems like none of them know how to do it.

Robin spoke in a frustrated tone. "How about you use a lighter or match to build a fire instead of using stones which are not even Flint." Yes Robin is a know-it-all even though she is unbelievably pretty and hot too, she's been like this since she was a child and that is the reason why Mark is dating her they have been together for a long time since they were childhood friends. Of course they all were childhood friends and I still don't understand why they included me in their group. Oh yes because of Kate she was my only friend at the beginning, she is kind and polite and extremely pretty no one is like her in the whole school the perfect blond.

"See that's how it's done." Eric's voice brought me back from my thoughts and only to realize that I was the only one who was standing. The fire was burning brightly and I took my seat beside Kate and we started playing. First question was for Kate and Mark volunteered to ask, she took truth so he asked her about her deepest secret, but as we all know Kate can't keep a secret no way on earth she could and to my amazement she told us about a childhood memory which seemed embarrassing by the way her face changed colour from blushing how did she keep it in for so many years. So the game went on until my turn came and Eric was the one to ask.

OK there is one thing you should know about Eric, he is the high school play boy and is always hitting on me. I'm so not taking truth he does tend to ask the most inappropriate things. He winked at me before asking and I couldn't help but blush he's cute but then again he's not at all considerate about Kate's feelings she has a huge crush on him maybe more than that and in some way I feel bad. He's looking at me intently as if he wants to say something but is over thinking it. "Just get over with it" I said frowning he's the one that gives toughest dares. "Well.... umm..." he begins "I wanted to give this one to Mark or Robin but I don't know if I'll get another chance to give a dare sooo here." He hands me a map and there's an X mark on it, the place seems close by.

I looked up at him confused, and he began to explain "There is a temple in the forest I've come here before so I know and there is a box with my name on it I kept it there when I was a child, it's hidden please go get it."

"That's it." I say.

"Yup"

Hmm... suspicious as always this guy. "So you basically want me to retrieve something you need, because you are scared to go in yourself?" It was more of a question than comment I know him all too well and this is something fishy, and judging by his expression there comes a BUT.

"But if you can't find it then you'd have to go out with me." "WHAT!?" I almost shouted. He knows very well that I'm scared of dark just a little and going out all alone in that forest is just too much. Everyone was looking at me cause they know it too. Then Kate broke the silence "It's not fair Eric you can't use her fear against her it's just a game." I know Kate's just protecting me she cares a lot but I have to do it I have to get past this fear thanks to my step-dad who put it in there.

"OK I'll go" that's all I said. "Are you sure?" Robin asked. "I think she'll be fine just if the ghosts don't get her." Mark said joking but no one laughed instead he got a punch on his shoulder from Robin and a look of despise from Kate. Eric and I are silent and staring at each other, even though we are friends what lengths he'd go to ask me out despite me saying no over and over again. Then he said, "What say Mercer show me what you've got." A smirk forming in his lips. Yup that ticked me off.

I frowned at him and then smirked. "Challenge accepted."
