"We are home!" Jack shouted and took his shoes off. I did the same and followed him in the kitchen. Glen and Felicity were sitting there and a bunch of papers were scattered in front of them.
"Ah... welcome back. I've been worried since you called last time." She looked at me and I smiled.
"Did you guys find anything new?"
Fel held her head between her hands, "This is so confusing, how come there aren't any clues?" Frustration dripping from her voice. Suddenly Jack took a comical pose, one hand in his hair putting his bangs back and the other resting on his hip. What, is he trying to look cool?
He cleared his throat and said, "I have solved all the mysteries." We stared at him for a moment and then got back to checking the papers. "So does anyone know how to solve these murders?" Fel said, she had a glint of mischief in her eyes.
"You guys pay attention to me!" Jack demanded like a kid. I giggled.
"I thought about this a lot and have solved it. It was humans. They killed the angels. Re-"
"It's impossible." Glen and Felicity said in unison.
"You just told me it was impossible."
"At least let me complete my sentence!"
"So like I said it was the humans, remember when we were kids because of some reason the army of angels were sent to earth."
"Yes, it was something that humans did it threw the balance of heaven, earth and hell but we don't really know what happened! Even if I ask the high council they will never speak of it, it's like it is forbidden" Felicity was annoyed. It was like she was so close yet so far.
"It is forbidden", Glen said and we looked at him each giving him curious looks. "Eh.. don't look at me like that. I was there at the time. A bunch of humans killed three angels."
"Tell me more, tell me more." Fel urged. "It sounds just like something that's happening now." Jack said, and I just sat there trying to take all the information in, it was difficult to keep up because it sounded like a plot of a fantasy movie.
"To be specific it was the exorcists who killed the angels."
"Exorcists as in the guys who kill demons."
"Yes, they tried to perform a ritual which was supposed to destroy all of hell killing all the demons at once."
"Wait the whole army was sent to kill a bunch of exorcists? However you look they were just humans right. They couldn't be that strong to take down" Jack said, voicing the questions running through my mind. Why, in the first place why would people want to do something as absurd as destroying hell. For one thing that I have learned that good can't exist without evil. It would throw everything off balance. If hell exists it does for a reason, right?
"Apparently these exorcists had the imperial arms, which they crafted to exterminate any kind of creature. Also all the arms were confiscated and the exorcists were killed."
"It's just a theory Glen. We don't have any reports about the formation of a group of exorcists in years. But not all the arms are with the angels some are missing." Fel said.
"You guys haven't told me what all happened when I was not around, I feel left out." Jack said pouting like a kid.
"Is that what you are worried about!?" Fel exclaimed amused.
By the looks of it, it seems that Glen has solved this. There are only some spaces left blank which have to be filled.
"I think there us a possibility for this to happen, anyway I should consult with Death about this." Fel said.
