Several hours later
"Now that we know it's their now newly sensitive hearing calling them," Harry said as he was waving his marker around in front of the white board. "We need to figure out the vibrations of their hearing sensitivity to locate and draw them into a single spot."
"Where we'll distribute the cure," Len explained from the other side of the board. "We'll now need to somehow transform the cure into a gas."
"I think I can figure something out," Caitlin said shrugging. "But usually it's me and Cisco. We're a team. Yeah, we can do our own side projects, but I've never turned a liquefied substance into a curable gas."
"We need to go out and find Cisco, Lenny." Lisa said with pleading eyes. "He's our missing piece to our puzzle right now." Lisa got up and waved around the room. "We got this far because we worked together. Please."
Leonard clenched and unclenched his jaw as he thought over his sister's words. He looked over at Sara, who was at the far corner of the room, she slightly lifted her eyebrows and nodded her head.
Leonard sighed. "Okay, we'll find your nerd first."
Lisa's face broke out into a huge grin. A grin he thought he'd never see again.
"Yes!" Lisa exclaimed. "I'll work on finding Cisco and," Lisa said as she turned towards Caitlin and Harry. "You guys will figure out the cure," She then turned towards Leonard and Sara. "You will design the gun to shoot the cure into him."
"What if he comes with too much resistance and we can't get a clear shot? We'll need to design a tranquilizer as well." Sara told Leonard.
Leonard nodded his head in agreement. "Okay, I-"
"I can help to expose Blood." A new voice cut in.
Everyone turned toward the entrance of the room at the same time.
"Iris," Lisa sighed.
Iris stood there holding a small bouquet of flowers, most likely for Barry.
"I can use my job at Prentice Press to try and get some dirt on him and make him public." Iris continued.
"That can really help actually," Caitlin shrugged.
"Thank you, Iris." Lisa said gratefully.
"Let's get this party Snarted." Leonard smirked.
"Way to ruin the moment," Lisa rolled her eyes and turned on her heels to continue searching on the city's camera feed.
Leonard gave a low chuckle and motioned for Sara to walk ahead of him as they made their way to the workshop down the hall.
"You were awfully quiet back there," Leonard said matching her pace. "What's on that mind of yours?"
"Nothing."
"Sara."
"At the restaurant," Sara finally said. "You said that you loving me wasn't past tense. As in...?"
Leonard turned his head to look down at the tiny assassin. "As in do I still love you?" Leonard Asked.
Sara nodded.
"I never stopped loving you, Sara." Leonard admitted as he fixed his eyes forward and focused most of his attention on the number of panels on the wall they passed as they walked. "You should know that. No, I didn't say it when I should have. And yes I was very angry with you. But it's not easy for me to love someone and when I do... well it's not exactly the easiest thing to let go."
Sara's face held a harden expression as they began to see the door to the workshop when they rounded the corner.
"You can't love me, Len. You don't love me. You love the Sara that you met at Jitters. Not me. I'm not her anymore. I need you to understand that so you can move on."
"You see, that's where your wrong." Leonard said as he stopped walking right before they entered the room. "I do love you, and I'm not trying to insinuate or try to change who you are as a person, but we all have changed. But we're all the same person from before somehow. So, don't tell me that I don't or can't love you. Because you're the only thing worth fighting for these days."
Leonard turned and entered the room-- leaving Sara a gaped in the doorway.
Hey! I know its been over a year since my last update, but my best friend recently gave me inspiration to start writing again. I really want to finish this story and I really hope some of you are still here to witness it.
