She Didn't Have Time

Chapter 4

(Demi's pov)

Last night I couldn't sleep because whenever I close my eyes I see Nick. The only way I could get him out of my mind was to find someone new. Part of me still loved Nick and the other part wanted to move on.

I dragged myself out of my bed and searched my closet for something to wear. I picked a simple pink woolly sweater with a pair of jeans. After I finished changing I walked over to Leah's crib. I scooped Leah into my arms and headed downstairs.

Before calling Sirah I picked up the remote and turned on the television for
Leah. Her favorite show Dora The Explorer was on. I entered the kitchen to make her a bowl of Lucky Charms.

I opened the cabinet and I noticed that I had no lucky charms.. Great that's just great. when Leah doesn't have any Lucky charms she turns into your worse nightmare it's pretty scary too.

"Um sweetie I don't have any lucky charms but I'll go to the store to get some. I'll call Sirah to keep an eye on you when I come back." I said calmly.

"You know mommy I love my lucky charms." Leah replied as she looked away from the tv for a second pouting.

"I know sweetie but you have to wait til I come back then I'll give you some some." I said as I closed the cabinet then I grabbed the phone to call Sirah.

"Hey Sirah." I said smiling

"Hi Demi." Sirah replied

"Can you babysit Leah til I come back from the store to get her a box of Lucky Charms ?" I asked calmly.

"Sure." Sirah replied cheerfully.

"Thank you so much." I said excitedly.

"You're welcome, I'll be there soon." Sirah replied smiling.

"See you soon." I said as I was about to hang up the phone.

"Bye." Sirah replied as she hung up the phone.

"Sirah will be here." I said as I put the phone on the kitchen table.

"Yay." Leah replied still focusing on the tv.

"I'm going to go now give mommy a kiss." I walked back over to the living room waiting for Leah to give me a kiss.

"Okay mommy be careful." Leah replied as she gave her mom a kiss on the cheek then she focused her eyes back on the tv.

"I'm going now." I said as I was about to open the door.

"Bye mommy." Leah replied as she got on to the couch and started waving goodbye.

"Bye sweetie." I said as I walked outside while Sirah walked up to the door.

I walk outside to go my car and drive to the store to get Leah her lucky charms before she has another tantrum.

As I got to the store I parked my car into the parking lot. I took my car keys out of the ignition, dropped them into my purse and pulled it over my shoulder.

When I walked into the store I walked to the breakfast isle and grabbed two boxes of lucky charms so Leah won't have to cry that we don't have any.

After I grabbed the boxes I went over to the cashier lady and she said that the cereal cost $10. So I gave her a friendly smile and handed her $10 then I told her to keep the change then I walked out of the store.

As I walked out of the store to walk to my car I noticed I have a fucking flat tire.. My day is going so WELL...

Come on I have no time for this I need to go home to see Leah.
