She Didn't Have Time

Chapter 29

(Demi's pov)
I can't believe that yesterday Darryl and I got married it just feels like yesterday I just met him at the parking lot and now we are spending the rest of our lives together I just feel like I am in a dream.

"Good morning Mrs. Lovato." Darryl said as he started to wake up.

"Good morning to you too Mr. Lovato." I replied as I gave him a passionate morning kiss.

"Someone's in a good mood this morning." Darryl said as a smirk on his face while letting go of my lips.

"How can I not be ?" I asked as I started kissing him more.

Before Darryl can answer my question he started to kiss me passionately...

"I don't know.. maybe. you. married. the. love. of. your. life." Darryl answered as he let go of my lips as he started kissing my neck while saying each word slowly.

"Ding- Ding we have a winner." I said biting my lip.

"I'm so glad that I married the most beautiful woman in the world." Darryl replied as he moved one of my straps of my nightgown down off my shoulder so he can kiss it.

"Well maybe one of these nights when the kids are at my mom's we should fool around like we use to you know what I mean." I said with a smirk on my face as I started looking into his beautiful blue eyes while Darryl was still kissing my neck and my exposed shoulder.

"That would be great if work wasn't in the way." Darryl sighed as he stopped kissing my neck.

"In a few weeks I have to go back to my job." I sighed back.

"If the captain is nice enough he might give me this weekend off." Darryl said with a serious tone in his voice.

"My boss won't because I almost got fired for sleeping in." I replied with a sigh.

"What do you mean you almost got fired?" Darryl asked with a confused look on his face.

"Long story short it was Nick's fault." I answered with an annoyed look on my face.

"At least you don't have to worry about him ever again." Darryl said with a serious tone in his voice.

"Yup thank God." I responded smiling.

"I'm so proud of you and how strong you've became with everything you went through and I love you so much for it." Darryl said with a smile on his face.

"Thanks Darryl that means so much to me." I replied as I looked deeply into his eyes.

As Darryl was about to kiss me Alyssa started crying...

"I'll get." Darryl said as he got out of bed and took the crying baby in his arms.

"WA WA WA !" Alyssa screeched as Darryl was trying to calm her down.

"Its okay sweetie Daddy's here." Darryl responded with a sweet tone in his voice.

"While you got that one I'm getting the other one." I said as I got out of bed.

"Demi stay in bed I got this." Darryl replied still trying to keep the baby calm.

"Are you sure ?" I asked as I walked over to the bed.

"Yes Demi if you can take care of Leah by yourself I'm pretty sure I can do both." Darryl responded as with a determined look on his face.

"Darryl, its different Nick left me because he wanted his stupid precious job back but the funny thing is he gave it up because he was so called "in love with me" but he was to busy screwing other women behind my back when I was pregnant then even when Leah came along he still slept with women behind my back then one day he just woke up started flipping out at me as if he was drunk and packed his things and left me then I had to take care of a two year old all by myself with no help from anyone but Sirah." I explained trying not to keep myself calm.
