* 1 year time skip*

(Demi's pov)
I can't believe that my baby girl is going to be three years old today. It's amazing how fast time flies. It feels like yesterday I just brought her home from the hospital.. I just wish time can slow down.

I got out off the couch to make Leah a bowl of Lucky Charms.

I walked into the kitchen then I realized that I left the boxes of lucky charms on the dining room table. So I put one box of cereal in the cabinet then I kept the other one on the table.

I grabbed a bowl and a spoon and set them on the counter. Then I grabbed the gallon of milk and I poured the cereal into the bowl followed by the milk.

After I was doing making Leah breakfast I went upstairs to my room to wake up Leah.

"Happy birthday Sweetie." I said as I put Leah up in my arms and kissed her beautiful forehead.

"Thanks Mommy." Leah replied as she smiled at me. I walked out of my room.

"Guess what I bought yesterday ?" I asked smiling as I started walking down the stairs.

"Lucky Charms." Leah replied sweetly with a smile on her face.

"How did you know?" I asked as I smiled at her.

"You said you were going to get some." Leah replied as I put her in the highchair to pass her over the cereal.

"Here you go sweetie." I said smiling.

"Thanks mommy." Leah replied as she tried to pick up the spoon.

"You're  welcome sweetie." I said as I grabbed the phone to call Sirah.

"You're  leaving again?" Leah asked as she looked at her mom innocently.

"I'm not going anywhere sweetie but you are." I replied as I was about to call Sirah.

"Why me ?" Leah asked pouting.

"It nothing bad, Selena and Marissa will be picking you up and your going to get a outfit for your birthday party that me and Sirah are going to be setting up for you." I replied reassuring her smiling.

"What about Daddy ?" Leah asked innocently.

"Um, sweetie Daddy isn't going to be living with us anymore because me and your Daddy want to live separately but he will always be your dad no matter what." I explained in a way she could understand. As I got down on my knees as I put her small hand in mine.

"Will Daddy be at my party ?" Leah asked innocently.

"Of course he will sweetie would never forget your birthday." I replied trying not to lie.

"Yay!" Leah said excitedly giving me a hug.

As I was giving some cereal to Leah the door bell rang.

"Nick?" I asked with a concerned look on my face as I opened the door.

"I'm here because it's my daughter's birthday and I bought her birthday present." Nick replied. He walked inside holding a purple wrapped present.

"Daddy!" Leah shouted excitedly trying to escape the high chair.

"Hold on sweetie I'll help you." I got Leah up from her high chair and let her walk to her father.

"Oh my God Leah! You're walking!" Nick said in amazement. His eyes widened as he watched his daughter trying to walk over to him.

"I love you Daddy." Leah replied as she got close to her dad.
