[Lucian]

I entered school the next day, just like any other day. There were students greeting me, and students shooting deadly glares at me. Honestly, it's what I get for being a member of the student council. I would've had a much more normal life if it weren't for my older sister.

I headed to my locker, grabbing a few books and shoving them into my bag before the door slammed shut right in my face.

Before I could even say a word, I noticed the girl standing before me with her arms crossed. Her cold blue eyes stared straight back into mine. She reached a hand out to adjust my hair and my tie.

"Well, good morning to you too, President."

"Lux. It's weird to have my own little brother call me that. But good morning to you too." She chuckled.

Roseanne Sky. My dear, satanic sister. She loves to call me 'Lux' as much as I protested against the name. She ran the student council here. Basically every student fears her. It's that aura of dignity that she exudes that causes students to tremble in their shoes.

"So," She paused, a smirk growing on her face, "I heard Ms. Langdon wants you to show the Devil the light."

"The Devil? Why do I have to show you the light?" I scoffed, earning a punch in my shoulder.

I winced, rubbing my shoulder before noticing the dangerous glint in her eyes. "It's going to be hard to change Reynold's behaviour when we're all in our graduating year. You have a lot to handle."

Rose's words lingered in my head for a good three seconds before hearing a sudden yelp from behind.

It was the Devil. Reynold Grey. He was, as usual, adorned with plasters like a diamond encrusted ring. A student had fallen miserably to the ground, whimpering. It doesn't take a fool to know he had shoved the poor student to the floor.

I turned back to Rose who had her lips pursed into a thin line. I knew exactly what she was thinking.

I really did have a whole load to deal with, huh?

Reynold had stormed off elsewhere, and Rose was about to take her leave before turning to me.

"Oh. He is quite a dashing man if we discount that attitude of his. Wouldn't be surprised if my little brother falls head over heels for him." She shot a wink at me before walking away.

It felt like I got slapped with a baguette. Really hard.

Me? Falling for a douchebag like that?

Never gonna happen.

School was finally over. I had packed all of my stuff and was ready to get out of school to be back in my bed when Ms. Langdon stood at the doorway, blocking my way completely.

Oh gosh.

I knew what she was here for. As if Reynold Grey standing reluctantly behind her wasn't a huge giveaway.

She turned to Reynold and I before clapping her hands in excitement, "Detention time!"

I have never seen a teacher so excited to be on detention duty. Ever.
