I was quite surprised that blondie held his own, just makes him a tad bit more attractive to me, just a little bit. As soon as Dom showed up though everything changed, he pulled Vince off of the guy and looked at him with a murderous glare.

"Hey man, he was in my face." the guy said, sprawled across the hood of his truck.

"I'm in your face now." Dom said.

Vince tried to rush at him again but Dom pushed him away and Leon grabbed hold of him. I hadn't realized that he left my side.

"Relax! Don't push it! You embarrass me!" Dom shouted at Vince, making him walk away.

"Get over here! What are you doing man?" Leon asked as he pulled Dom away.

I took advantage of the lull and walked out to the guys. Vince looked like a bull ready to attack, breathing heavily and trying to walk towards the guys again. The look of pure anger that Dom sent him is the only thing that held him back.

"Charlotte, give me the wallet." Dom said as I stepped up to them.

Looking around I found his wallet not far from where the fight was initiated. I grabbed it and looked quickly before handing it to Dom. Pretty typical California guy's wallet.

"Brian Earl Spilner, sounds like a serial killer name. Is that what you are?" Dom asked making me scoff.

"Don't be an idiot Dom, if he was a serial killer why the hell would he tell you? You're such a smart guy, I don't understand how it is that you say such stupid things sometimes." I said, making the guys chuckle and my cousin shake his head.

"You would." Dom said.

"No man." Brian Earl Spilner said, holding in his laughter.

"Don't come around here again." Dom said, making me stare at him.

What the hell? Vince starts the drama and Brian has to pay for it? I see how things are going around here now and he will hear me on this. That's favoritism and as much as I can understand his loyalty to Vince it's still not right.

"Hey, man. This is bullshit!" Brian argued.

"You work for Harry, right?" Dom asked, after he whirled around.

"Yeah. I just started."

"You were just fired." Dom stated before walking away.

I turned around and just stared at my retreating cousin, not understanding what the hell was going through his head right now. Turning back around I shot Brian a sympathetic smile before going after Dom. I heard his truck turn on and speed away from the shop, I could only imagine his anger.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked Dom when I made it to the back room and he hung up the phone.

"What do you mean?" he asked, honesty curiosity on his face.

"First you tell the guy he can't come around here again . . ."

"You saw what just happened!" he argued.

"Yes, I saw Vince blow up at a patron of the market. I saw Vince start a physical altercation with someone who did nothing to him and I saw how you sided with your friend, which is not something to be surprised by but I'm still surprised at your actions after the fact."

"Charlie . . ."

"No, then when he tried to defend himself you try to take away his livelihood? What the hell is wrong with you Dominic Toretto? The rules you created about respect and you shove on everyone else don't apply when it's one of your friends? Vince is exempt from everything because of what . . . you've known him forever?"
