We walked into the library and sat on the red sofa that was in front of the fireplace. Eric went to one of the book shelves and pulled out a box. It seemed like an aid kit, but for vampires. He disinfected my neck with alcohol and then tilted my head. I saw the flames from the fire reflect into Eric's red eyes as he came closer to me.
"I wish I could say it's painless, but you'll feel it a lot in the beginning since part of me will be flowing through your body. Towards the end you might just feel a lot of energy. My advice will be to get a good nights sleep." Eric said while pushing my hair away from my neck.
He leaned in, slighting placing his hand against my face. Before he could bite me, I immediately grabbed his arm. "I-I'm scared." My heart was beating out of my chest and I'm pretty sure Eric could feel it from my pulse.
He looked at me. "It's going to be alright. Trust me Elizabeth."
I looked at him then let go of his arm. I relaxed my face on his hand and let him lean onto me. My eyes were closed, waiting for his teeth to sink in. I felt his teeth prick my neck and I gripped the sofa tightly. I started counting to three.
"One, two, three."
His teeth were now fully biting down on me, and my eyes shot opened. The pain was unexplainable, my whole neck was numb and I felt every nerve, every muscle react. I grabbed Eric's arm and squeezed it tightly. My legs wrapped around his and my other hand swung over his back, gripping his shirt. He wouldn't stop, he stayed there biting into my neck. I said his name very faintly as the pain started to dwell down. My arms grew weak and I slowly started letting go of Eric and eventually, my heart slowed down to a normal pace.
Eric got off and revealed a mouth full of my blood. His fangs were still out and they were long. He examined me from head to toe.
"Are you alright?"
I looked up at him, unsure on what to reply. I felt my teeth grow to be like his.
"I-I feel weird." I said faintly.
Eric smiled and got up. He went over to the aid kit and pulled out a small mirror. "Here, take a look."
I took the mirror and looked at myself. My once brown eyes became a dark red and my two teeth were as sharp as a blade.
I slowly stood up. My legs ached as well as my arms. My head was spinning and I felt like my stomach was twisted. I started having a blurry vision and then boom, I hit the floor. Eric ran to me and tried to help me up but I was too weak. Instead, he carried me all the way to my bedroom and tucked me in the sheets.
