I rubbed my eyes slowly getting up from my bed it was eight in the morning and I had to be at work at ten. I walked over to my bathroom and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
My eyes were puffy from crying last night and it definitely looked like I got about five hours of sleep.
I definitely had to do something about this and fast, I didn't want Isabella to see me like this. I remember when Shawn left for the first time, I was a mess.
She didn't need to know I was crying over a boy that wasn't going to come back. You have a boyfriend Camila, focus on him, although I don't know how I feel about him anymore.
I was a horrible person, was I just trying to use him to get over someone? He deserves someone better, someone who is not hung up on some guy. That probably didn't feel the same way she did.
I had taken a shower, brushed my teeth, found myself a decent outfit and done my hair and makeup. "Are you ready?" Isabella asked knocking on my bedroom door. "Yes" I replied opening the door.
"Come on, I have class. I don't even want to go" she groan I giggled at her. Her hair in a high ponytail while she wore an oversized sweater with pair of sneakers. She definitely didn't care, but somehow she pulled off the look.
"I was having a nice dream then the stupid alarm clock went off" she mumbled as we left the apartment. "What was it about?" I asked "Dylan O'Brien was in it, that's all you need to know" she answered "oh my god" I said as she smirked at me.
"How was your sleep?" She asked me once we got into her car "any steamy dreams?" She added rising her eyebrow "no" I answered. "You're boring" she tells me.
"Do you have classes after work?" Isabella asked me once we got to the photography studio. "Nope, I'm just gonna walk home anyways it's not far" I tell her "are you sure?" She asked "positive, now go away" I say walking away from the car.
"Good morning River" I said to my boss, he was close friends with my father. Maybe, that's why I got this job so easily. But it didn't matter I loved it here.
"Good morning Camila, I have some good news for you" he tells me "did someone finally fix the ac? It gets really hot with the studio lights." I answered trying to guess "that's one" he replied as I laughed "oh, then what's the good news?" I asked
I placed my elbow on the front desk and rested my chin in it. I leaned over the desk interested in the conversation. "Someone saw your work and wants you to work for them" he tells me "they didn't say much, but they want you to be their personal photographer." River said.
"Really?" I shouted becoming excited "it involves lots of travel and good pay" he added "I-I could travel the world, while doing something I love?" I asked "if you take the offer" he tells me "of course I will!" I shouted "but I have to talk to my parents and tells Isabella!" I added walking around the room.
"Oh, and Finn.." I mumbled "well, you have to tell me by tomorrow so you can set up a meeting and talk about it" River tells me "don't worry, it's a yes! Everyone will be happy!" I shouted walking into my studio.
"Wow, you're such a princess Aria!" I said to the little girl posing in front of me. She was about three and was having a little photo shoot, I loved little kids. Not so much when they are crying, but I loved doing cute will photo shoots with them.
"You're adorable!" I tell her Kneeling down to her level "can I have a hug?" I asked she nodded her head and giggled then gave me a hug. "I'll have those pictures for you in a few days, okay?" I said "okay" she answered.
"Bye" I said as she walked away with her mother. "You're good with kids, cami" I heard I already knew who it was because of the nickname. It wasn't my favorite because nobody called me that. I didn't have the heart to tell him, I once called him Finely but he got at at me because it wasn't his name.
"I like kids" I replied, most nineteen years old probably didn't like kids or want any, anytime soon. I definitely wanted a family, I remember being younger and planning out my life with Isabella.
I wanted to be engaged by the age of twenty one, married by at least twenty fifth and have a family at twenty eight. That definitely wasn't going to happen at this rate. "So you want a family?" Finn asked me "of course" I replied, who didn't.
"But not anytime soon" I added "my mother kept asking if you were ready to settle down" he tells me. "Is she crazy? No offense, I'm not even done with college! You told her right?" I said looking at him "of course, but do you see a future with me?" He asked
"Finn, you know I love it when you visit me, but why are you here?" I asked trying to avoid the question. "Is it a crime to visit my girlfriend?" He asked with a chuckle "no, but it should be illegal to pester her with questions" I say under my breath.
"What?" He asked "oh, I said of course not" I replied giving him a smile. "Anyways, I just wanted to know if you wanted to go out after work" Finn asked me "oh, I don't know. I have to be up early classes, you know" I answered. "Come on, Camila" he said "okay, but can we just go over my place and watch a movie?" I asked
"If that's what you want, fine" he answered "okay, I'll just get my stuff together" I said.
"Bye River!" I shouted he wasn't at the front desk he was probably editing photos or with a client. "Don't forget to tell your parents and Isabella about that job offer! Remember traveling to word!" He shouted back.
My eyes widen as I looked over at Finn "travel the world? New job?" He asked looking over at me "I- I was going to tell you" I quickly say. "Just take me home"
