Camila's POV

I hate this chapter, but it's a little filler I guess lol

"Wake up!" "Get up!" "Camila!" I threw my pillow hoping to hit Isabella in the face. I think I missed because she didn't scream like usually "go away" I mumble pulling the sheets over my head. "It's your birthday! You're twenty! You're getting old!" She shouted.

"I don't care, I need sleep" I say "Shawn's here!" Isabella yelled "no he's not!" I said sitting up in bed rubbing my eyes. "Haha, got you" she said laughing "go away" I tell her finally getting up from bed.

"Happy birthday!" Isabella shouted hugging me "thanks, now let me get ready" I tell her.

My family wanted to celebrate my twentieth birthday just by having a small dinner with a few friends. Which included Finn and his family, Isabella and her family and also Shawn. I was nervous usually people don't have to worry about anything on their birthday, I on the other hand did.

Finn was still upset with me for hanging out with Shawn and not telling him about it. I was angry just thinking about it, who did he think he was? I was going to drop one of my close friends because of him. If Finn thinks I will, he has another thing coming.

I was also worried about seeing Finn's family again, his mother did not like me. She probably disliked me more after this whole thing, did Finn tell her about of fight? Also Finn's sister loved Shawn.

This was going to be a mess and I already knew it, I just decided to get ready for the day. I just wore my usual off the shoulder crop top and a pair of high waisted jeans. I put on a pair of heels to make the outfit seem more dressy and to make me look taller.

I decided to curl my hair a bit and leave my bangs out, I also did some light makeup. Now I was ready to go "are you ready, Isabella?" I shouted waiting for her to respond "yeah! Hold on I'm coming!" She called out

She came out of her bedroom wearing a nice simple dress and her hair was actually down for once. "Let's get going" Isabella says "this is going to be the most awkward party ever" I say leaving the apartment. "This is going to be great" Isabella answered laughing. "You love seeing me miserable, don't you?"

Isabella and I were parked in front of my parents house, I felt awful. I noticed Finn's car and his parents car, the only person not here yet was Shawn. "I think we need to go back home, I feel sick" I said to Isabella slumping down on my seat. My stomach was hurting and I was extremely anxious.

"Camila, you're really dramatic" Isabella answered "I'm being serious, I can't be in a room with Finn and Shawn!" I said freaking out "Finn hasn't spoken to me in days because I didn't tell him about my relationship with Shawn."

"I don't know why he is so upset, it's not like I'm dating Shawn! And Finn's mother basically hates me, what if he told he about our fight?" I questioned I started rumbling about what could go wrong tonight. "Mila, you need to calm down, okay" Isabella says "let's just go inside and see what happens, okay" she added.

We both got out of the car and made our way into the house, Spanish music was being played. My family was talking to Finn's family, Isabella's parents were also here. "Happy birthday!" My mom shouted pulling me into a hug "my baby isn't a teenager anymore!" She cried "mami" I said becoming a bit embarrassed.

I had finally escape my parents, I saw Finn leaning up against the wall talking to my little sister. I took a deep breath and decided to walk over "hey guys" I said "hi Camila!" Jess said "hey" Finn answered not even looking at me.

"Happy birthday!" Jess said to me giving me a side hug. "Thanks" I replied, I guess I wasn't getting congratulated by my so called 'boyfriend". "Finn and I got you something!" She added "you guys did?" I questioned "yeah, of course! I mean I picked it out and Finn bought it" Jess said giggling.
