It never really hit me how much I missed home, my friends, and my family until I was in Portugal. A place that felt like home to Shawn, he was half Portuguese.
All the fans made him feel so at home, they even freaked out when he spoke the language. Spain was nice, but It wasn't home.
Shawn even said his family was going to come visit on a few tour stops.
I didn't understand why I was feeling like this, I have always wanted to travel the world. But I had this awful feeling in my heart, I wanted to be home.
Maybe because I didn't want to work so much and just enjoy this. Maybe I needed someone to keep me company when Shawn wasn't with me.
I felt alone when he wasn't with me. I didn't like feeling that way because he had important things to do then stay with me. Was I an awful person for feeling this way?
"Mila? You ready to go?" Shawn asked walking over to me while I sat in bed with my laptop. "Yeah, give me five more seconds I need to submit a paper" I replied "and done!" I shouted getting up from the bed.
We were almost out the door before I told him to wait, I quickly wrapped my arms around him. Place my head on his chest, we didn't act like this in public. Only because this whole thing started a few weeks ago.
A part of me didn't want the whole world to know, but the other half wanted everyone to know that he was mine. He chuckled then hugged me back "te quiero mucho" I said looking up at him "te quiero también" he replied.
"You learned how to say it!" I shouted becoming really excited "Yeah, I might need to learn Spanish now" he said "te amo con toda mi alma y todo mi corazón!"
"I understood I love you, so I love you too" Shawn answered as I giggled. He made me feel at home, but when he wasn't here. I felt alone.
Shawn was off doing a q&a while I sat in the back room doing nothing. I had finished all of my school work for the week, I had finished editing pictures. I eve called Isabella and my parents, telling them how much I missed them.

I sang softly to along to one of my favorite songs, Todo Cambio by a band called Camila. It was basically about how everything started changing when I started loving you.
I remember when I was younger my parents would listen to this song. I hated it at first because I thought the meaning was stupid, how could your life change when you love someone?
Now I understood the meaning behind the song. I was only twenty, could I know who the love of my life was? Because I felt like I did.
"Antes que pase más tiempo contigo, amor Tengo que decir que eres el amor de mi vida"
"You know you have an amazing voice" I heard I didn't even have to look up to know it was Shawn. "You tell me that every time you hear me sing" I responded "because it's true" he replied.
"What are you listening to?" He asked sitting down next to me "one of my favorite songs" I tell him, a song that reminds me of you. "It's by a band called Camila" I say "is that why you like it?" Shawn asked laughing.
"No" I giggled "my parents would listen to it all the time, I didn't understand the meaning of it till now. It's a great song" I say looking at him.
"What's the meaning behind it?" He questioned "how everything changes when you love someone" I answered giving him a smile leaning closer towards him.
"It reminds me of someone" I said "really, who?" He asked chuckling "I don't think I can tell you, it's a secret" I said laughing getting up from the couch.
"Hey, get back here" Shawn tells me grabbing my hand and bringing me closer to him. "Hello" I say once we are face to face again "hey" he replied before pressing his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me.
I rested my forehead against his giving him a smile. I turned my head around seeing Andrew "I knew it!" I said getting up "it's always you" I said as he laughed.
"The show is starting soon, come on" he told us we both nodded "and Shawn your family is here" he added before leaving.
Shawn had left the room as I was about to I got a message from Finn's little sister, Jess. I was confused on why, maybe she wanted to ask what happened. As I was about to answer Shawn called me over.
I didn't need to respond right away anyways, right? I walked out of the room to see Shawn's parents and his younger sister, Aaliyah. "You guys remember Camila, right?" Shawn asked as I stood awkwardly next to him.
"Oh my god, you have gotten so big!" His mother said pulling me into a hug "you sure, Aaliyah is taller then her" Shawn said "shut up, don't you have a show to play or something" I tell him turning around.
"I'm just joking" he said laughing "but it's true" he added as I rolled my eyes as everyone else started laughing. "I don't understand how you lived with him" I said to Aaliyah "I don't either" she replied as we both giggled.
"But seriously don't you have a show to do?" I said looking over at Shawn "yeah, well enjoy the show" he said rushing off I laughed and smiled.
"Since the parents are gone now" Aaliyah said once her parents left "are you two daring?" She asked "why would you say that?" I said nervously.
"Well, you're getting nervous right now, and the way you two look at each other!" She said "um" I started trying to find the right words to say.
"I knew it" she smiled "I wouldn't mind having you as a sister" she added before walking away.

Pizza by notmendes that's a great one I feel like a lot of people have read it tho because it has a lot of read, but that book deserves it! It's a Shawn Mendes fanfic
