Hehe :) Another update? Two days in a row? Yes. Yes indeed. Enjoy this Chapter guys :)

I slowly made my way back inside, the note tucked deep into my back pocket. I wordlessly poured myself a bowl of cereal. I munched on the Lucky Charms, sorting out my thoughts.

"You okay Riles?" Dad asked, sitting on the stool beside mine. "Oh, yeah, I'm great Dad!" I said, over enthusiastically. "Well, you forgot to mention to me that your mother would be coming into town." He casually added.

I put my head in my hand. "Dad, I totally forgot all about that." He shrugged. "Well, she certainly didn't. She'll be here on Wednesday." I almost choked on my cereal. "Laĭna!" I cursed in Bulgarian. "Three days? Is she going to be staying here?" I gave Dad a pleading look. He ignored it.

"Don't use that kind of language. And why should she have to pay for a hotel when she could stay in the extra bedroom I have?" I mad a gagging sound. "What? It would be strictly business." I snorted. "Okay, Dad. I gotta run. Can I take the Rustmobile?" I asked, using our old nickname for it. He rolled his eyes. "The keys are on the counter." He walked to his room with his cup of coffee.

I checked my phone, seeing I had twenty minutes before nine. I grabbed my sunglasses and out the door I went. Every inch closer to the park I got, the more nervous I was. I parked about a block away from the park and went the rest of the way on foot at a leisurely pace.

I saw Colson adjusting and readjusting his YNR snapback repeatedly. He didn't notice me yet. It gave me a little piece of mind to see he was just as nervous as I was.

He heard me approaching and stood up. "I know you're wondering why I asked you to come. Maybe not, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry for last night. I want to be friends still. If you don't, I get it." He babbled.

I suddenly knew what I wanted. It was him. I wasn't second-guessing myself anymore. "It's just that-" He started. I came close, our faces almost touching, cutting him off. "Shut up, Doofus." I grinned, leaning in to press my lips against his.

His hands shifted to my waist, mine around his neck. Our mouths were tangled together. I smiled against his lips after a while. "Should I take that as a yes?" He asked, cradling my face in his hand. "I would hope so." I giggled. He kissed me hungrily once more. I grabbed his hat, slipping it over my hair.

"Just when I thought you couldn't get any cuter, Dimitrova." He fixed the snapback so that I wore it backwards. " I bit my lip. "I have my ways."

I settled deeper into my bed, still wearing Colson's cap. I lay awake, thinking about today. I smiled every time he came to mind. At Pinkberry's. On the back of his Rent-A-Cycle. In his arms. On his lips. And just when I was starting to think sleep was inevitable, It came. I accepted it gratefully. The sleepless night from before was starting to get to me. I sighed, flipping over.

A loud thumping noise was coming from outside my window. It startled me from my sleep-like state. I walked over to the window. Dex scared the life out of me, making me jump three feet in the air. His face was pressed against the glass, as if he wasn't sure if I was there or not.

I lifted the window. He took this as a gesture to climb in. I yawned, too tired to tell him otherwise. "It's almost one in the morning, Dexter! Geez," I hissed. "Well hello to you too." He muttered sarcastically. I placed my hands on my hips.

"I just wanted to know if you were still alive, Riley! You just left last night without saying a word." He said heatedly. My expression softened. Oh, crap. "Dex, I'm so sorry. I've been busy and I just... forgot. I didn't mean to have you so worried." I admitted. He started to stare at me in a way that creeped me out. "Dex? You okay?" I whispered. He ignored me. Instead, he leaned in, trying to fill the gap inbetween our faces. Trying to kiss me! I put my hand in front of his mouth.
