I towel-dried my hair, looking into the mirror. Today had definitely been a long one. When my hair was finally dry enough, I ran my straightener through it. I pulled on my stilettos and put on a layer of smoky eyeshadow.
"Come on, Riles! Ladies get in free until eleven!" I heard Callie scream from the living room. I walked out of the bathroom, my heels click-clacking on the tile. Daphney let out a wolf whistle. Dex's jaw was dangling at his knees. Callie groaned. I raised an eyebrow.
"I'm so not getting any guys tonight if I gotta compete with you." She muttered. I blushed slightly. "Are you kidding? That dress will attract anyone with a pulse in a ten mile radius Cal." I pointed out. She pulled at the hem of her skin-tight dress and beamed. "Thanks." She said.
"Are you guys ready?" Daphney asked. Dex was still staring. "Um yeah." I replied, heading towards the door. Everyone piled into the Rustmobile. Dre and Dubo said they would meet us at the club. Everyone would be there, except for Monica. And Colson. My heart ached just thinking about him.
I refused to forgive him though. After the ice cream incident, I went straight home, not listening to Colson's pleas for forgiveness. I was ready to have a good time tonight. I was in Malibu, for crying out loud.
Dre told us about this club on the other side of town, but you had to be twenty-one to get alcohol. I just wanted to party and dance with my close friends. Drinking was the last thing on my mind.
But unfortunately it wasn't the last thing on Callie's. "Do you think this fake ID looks... fake?" She asked as I drove. I glanced at it, desperately trying not to giggle. "No, Demi Lovato, it looks totally real." I said. She stared at the name on the ID.
"Ugh, you're right. I look more like a Miley, not a Demi." She muttered to herself. I chuckled at that.
A few minutes later, I parked the truck two blocks away from the actual club. "It's just so no drunkies get any ideas to steal my truck." I said to their questioning looks. "Make sense." Daphney said.
We hobbled down the sidewalk. I grumbled loudly. "These heels are killing me already." I complained. Callie clicked her tongue. "Beauty is pain, girl." I ignored her and walked the rest of the way to the club.
The sidewalk vibrated beneath my feet from the loud music coming from the club. The line was so long it curved around the side of the building. We all sighed before starting our walk to the end. But I was stopped.
"Hey, aren't you the Davey Mills girl? Riley, right?" The man at the door said. I gave him my brightest smile. "Why yes, yes I am." I said, shrugging my shoulders carelessly. He moved aside from the entrance. "A friend of Davey is a friend of mine. Come on in." He said. I grinned as I grabbed Callie and Daphney by their arms and pulled them inside. Dex gave the man a hesitant smile before following us in.
I immediately got lost in the crowd. I looked around for Daphney or Callie, but came up with nothing. I scooted between the packed bodies and towards the bar. I ordered a water and got comfortable on the cushioned stool.
"Riley Dimitrova? Is that you?" A familiar voice asked. I turned to my right to see who the voice belonged to. Chris Brown smiled back at me, sitting two stools away. We had worked together last week in the studio on a few of my songs. I grinned, my heartbeat speeding up a bit. Chris got up and moved closer, taking a seat on the stool closest to mine.
"Chris? I didn't know you partied at this club." I joked. He rolled his eyes. "You mind explainin' to me why you are sitting at this bar, Miss Dimitrova?" He said, changing the subject. I laughed.
"Hey, I'm eighteen I can be here. And I'm only getting water." I reassured him. He gave a dramatic sigh. "What a relief. Where's your boyfriend?" Chris asked, leaning on the bar's counter. I inwardly winced at the word "boyfriend". I didn't even know if I wanted to be with him anymore. I gave him a shrug.
"I don't know, and to be honest, I don't even care. I came to have fun." I told him. He raised an eyebrow but didn't push the subject any further. "Well, then let's party!" He exclaimed. He grabbed my hand, pulling me away from my seat. I looked back, longing for my water, but I followed him anyway.
We arrived at a large VIP section of the club. The bouncer let us in without question. Tyga, Lil Wayne, and Honey Cocaine sat at a small table. My eyes widened. "Hey y'all this is Riley. She's Davey's new prodigy." He said. I took a seat next to Tyga. The grin on my face wouldn't leave.
Lil Wayne chuckled at my expression. "Hey to you too." He teased. I blushed. "I'm sorry for staring. You guys are awesome." I gushed. Honey Cocaine smiled at me. "I like this girl, Chris." She said to him.
Chris laughed, sitting beside me. "Me too."

Colson's P.O.V.
"Hey, It's Riley. I'm not here right now, but I'll call you back ASAP. Bye." I hung up, running a hand through my shaggy hair. This was the seventh time I had called her. I wasn't gonna bother to leave her a voicemail this time. Dre and Dubo had left to meet Riley and her friends at the club an hour ago. She was ignoring my texts and calls over something stupid.
I clenched my fists at the thought of her dancing with some other guy. I went back to the living room. Monica was on the couch. She turned as I walked in. "Hey you wanna take a ride to Club Element?" I asked impatiently. I had to talk to Riley.
Monica smiled. "Sure." She responded.
