13. Flare is back!

I felt my body start to wake up slowly I walked at normal speed to the kitchen and Jess was awake watching news about the Flash.

Woman: "The Flash stoped a robbery at the Robert museum monument, no sign of the Flare as they have been quiet, is this the end for Flare? That's it on the 5am news.

Hell no that's not it I thought.
"Hey it's 5am why are you up Jess?"
"I was wanting to make sure you was okay!" She said happy I was awake.

As I grabbed food and started cooking I asked, "why are you obsessed with the Flash and Flare?"
"I don't know, I guess it's cool knowing there's something bigger out in the world, something, I don't know more impossible than you think." She said.

I so badly wanted to tell her but I knew if she knew, that she might slip up and tell somebody.
"So how's it go with my friends?" I asked starting to fry some bacon. "Good, he's really cute!" She said and I could help but cringe a little.
She then got a flustered look.
"I wanted to flirt but he didn't seem to get the hint, oh and they Cisco is totally adorable."

I coughed my water up that I was drinking into the sink and with a hoarse voice I said. "What are you on." Laughing some.
"Nothing, Just he's funny." I cringed worse at that.
"I guess." I laughed,

"Barry was hard to talk to anyways, he was just concerned all day after you completely took off on us, and plus after you know, um, I don't know, FOUND YOU PASSED OUT!" She yelled.

"Where did you even take off to and why was you passed out?"
SHIT! "Well I left so I could drop off something at a friends and I passed out probably because I was worn out you know being a cop and all."nice save.
"What'd you have to drop off?"I started to cough my water up again. "H-headphone from my friend um, uh Eli,Elise- Elisabeth."
Okay not a good save.

She somehow bought it. "Oh." She said.
"Yea." I replied.
"Hey Emma?" She said looking at me with a hint of being scared.
"Yea?" I asked as she shifted on the couch.
"I seen you. Don't be scared okay?" She said I instantly on the inside started freaking out. She knew I was the Flare, Damn it.

"I can explain." I said walking to her with worry.
A small smile crept on her face. "It's okay with me I mean I don't really need to be the one to say what you can and cannot do." She said patting on the open spot on the couch.
I took the spot sitting shifting in my seat as I tuned and looked her in the eye.

"Don't tell anyone okay?" I asked with worry.
"Don't worry" she smiled.
"I won't tell anybody you like Barry Allen!" She smiled.
I stoped and stared at her I'm complete confusion.
"What are you talking about?"
"I see it in your eyes em, and it's so cute, you two would make a cute couple. But I think I'm taking my dibs on Cisco." She said still smiling.

I was shocked that she didn't know my actual secret. I decided this fake secret would help me determine if I should tell her I'm the flare or not. If she blurts that I 'Like him' then I won't tell her the Flare thing but if she passes I'll tell her. I thought to myself.

"Yea don't tell." I said smiling back.
"I won't." She smiled.
My phone vibrated In my pocket and I checked.
ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!
Robbery on 5th ave.
"Hey I'm going to go change real quick." Which was true, I said running upstairs and locking my door behind me at normal speed.

Then I sped into one of my brand new suits and flew through my open window. I raced to the robbery it was a jewelry store.
I raced in and it was one man with AK47.
I raced to the gun took it out of his hands disarmed it and stood in front of him.
"What you going to do now huh?" I said mocking him.

All a sudden at least 8 more people completely armed through the windows busting all of them.
"Are you serious?" I asked the man with the disarmed gun.
I ran fast as I could disarming every gun and I handcuffed them all together.
"Going to take a little more than that to stop me."
All a sudden I felt a cold blade against my neck. "Hi Flare."
SHIT!
