There's a sleeping Jungkook in Taehyung's bed. The older is mostly on top of him, satisfied that instead of having to cuddle a pillow it got to be a person instead.
He can't even believe his mom allowed them to be sleeping together in his room. But it was late when they both showed back up at the house and she was just so happy to see them come back happy. She didn't want it to be short lived. Besides, she knows her son. He wasn't going to try anything with Jungkook, not right now anyways.
With his chin resting on the other's chest, Taehyung studies the sleeping male. Only this time he's not afraid to do so.
It's unfair that someone can look so beautiful when they sleep. Although to be fair, Jungkook truly slept. Taehyung could do just about anything and not wake the other up.
Right now, he's tracing the sleeping male's knuckles softly with his fingers, then running them up the veins along the other's arms.
Taehyung suddenly remembers that he never marked the two things he did last night off in his notebook. He glances over and makes sure the younger is truly sleeping before he flips through and marks them off.
His fingers brush against his lips, still in slight disbelief. He didn't just get his first kiss plus many others. It was with Jungkook, who chased him down in Daegu.
It almost doesn't even seem real.
He closes the notebook and lays back down with a smile. When he looks at at Jungkook, sleepy brown eyes are staring back at him.
"How long have you been awake?" he asks flustered.
"Long enough to see you checking off things in your bucket list," the younger lightly teases with a yawn.
"Shut up."
"No, it's cute. Especially since I know you're checking off your first kiss."
Taehyung turns away, now facing the wall instead of the male. He hears a giggle.
A long abruptly is flung over his waist and Jungkook wraps his arms tightly around the older.
"I'm not done cuddling," he pouts.
"Don't talk near my face," Tae complains. "You have morning breath."
The younger only shrugs unapologetically, knowing the other isn't completely put out anyways.
"Jungkook-ah," Taehyung says after a little. "Why were you late yesterday?"
He feels Jungkook's arms tighten around him and the younger's face presses into Tae's shoulder for a moment.
"My mom doesn't really know about me being gay," he finally says. "I think she's suspected, but I've never come out. I've never actually had like a real boyfriend or anything."
"You don't have to say it," Tae murmurs, seeing where this is going.
He rolls back over so they're face to face again.
"She asked me where I was going and I said I was meeting you. It was like she just knew, so she asked me what the deal was with us and I said that I liked you a lot. That we were going out on a date. She threw dropped a glass on floor and just didn't say anything. She stood there for forever so I finally ran up in my room and hid for awhile. I could hear her crying downstairs, like her heart was broken. Like I told her the worst thing ever. I guess I just like spaced out for awhile. I knew this was going to happen, but I don't know... I guess I hoped somehow it would still end okay." He grimaces.
Taehyung brings their intertwined hands up to his lips.
"When I finally checked my phone, it was too late and I saw all the texts. I came over as fast as I could and you know the rest."
