The Bucket List (Taekook)

Chapter Four

He's so captivating.

"Jungkook?" Taehyung asks.

"Huh?" the younger blinks at the other's expectant expression.

They're driving with the windows down in Taehyung's car to the mystery destination that he still knows nothing about. Something about the way the wind was blowing the male's dark hair out of his face or perhaps the nice view at his sharp jawline made Jungkook gaze at him, slightly dazed.

"I asked you if you had a song request," Taehyung chuckles.

"Oh." How many times could he look like an idiot in front of Tae? "That's okay. You can pick."

"I've picked the last four songs."

He pushes his phone into Jungkook's hands. The other hates himself for the thrill he gets from the simple touch that's exchanged.

Jungkook chews on his lip and scrolls through Taehyung's music library.

He shouldn't be surprised at the uniqueness of the older's music taste. A wide variety of songs from different genres and even different languages are in there.

He ends up choosing a Coldplay song and he can tell by the way Tae's face lights up that he made the right choice.

Jungkook's more surprised when he joins along. His singing voice sounds like one that should be trending all over the world. Yet Tae doesn't look like he even has a clue. He's just singing because he wants to.

He listens to Taehyung sing instead of the actual song and it's beautiful.

"That was really good," he truthfully tells the other.

"I don't know about that, but thank you."

"It's true. I don't bullshit people."

Taehyung chuckles. "You're a lot different than I thought you would be."

Shit.

"What do you mean? You've thought around thinking of me?" The younger can't help teasing, but is also a little curious.

"No," Tae lies. "I've just noticed you before at school."

"And what did you think of me?"

Taehyung shakes his head, but can't help grinning. "I don't know. You just seemed cool and smooth. That person that's good at everything."

Jungkook shakes his head. "Not even close."

"It's okay. Neither am I."

He smiles gratefully. "So where the hell are we going anyways?"

Taehyung chuckles deeply. "We've been driving for at least twenty minutes and you're just now asking."

The younger shrugs.

"We're almost there. You'll find out then."

So they quietly sit together for the rest of the ride. Jungkook knows they're in Daegu, but can't figure out where exactly they're going.
