Taehyung can hardly believe that he's been able to use his name, date, and Jungkook all in the same sentence with it being completely true.

Yet here he is, getting ready for his...date.

Well, attempting to. Clothes pile on top of the mess that already exists on his floor. It wasn't like they're doing anything fancy. Jungkook would probably stick to his usual wardrobe of timberlands, t-shirts, and ripped skinny jeans.

Still, Taehyung somehow convinced himself that if he dresses right then everything will be perfect and he'll finally get Jungkook as his own.

Stupid, yes.

Still, he finally decides on a shirt that has a Gucci vibe to it since he'll never be able to afford the real thing. This shirt comes with confidence and good times. Yes, this is perfect. He slides a jean jacket over top. He debates on not wearing it so he can get the younger to give uo his jacket, but decides against it.

Calm down Tae, he scolds himself. After all, they're only going to a amusement park, since Jungkook knows the older's yearning to go to one.

Would they hold hands on the more intense rides? Would they play overpriced carnival games that Taehyung could get a prize from? Maybe they could share sweet cotton candy.

Taehyung puts his hand on his chest, feeling the uncontrollable beat of his heart as he keeps reimagining their day together.

It's partly Jungkook's fault. The whole week at school, the younger always made sure to bring it up and tease Tae about how other's going to be grabbing onto him while scared on a ride. He's even been counting down the days to Tae each morning at his locker with the most adorable bunny grin.

Mrs. Kim politely knocks on the door before stepping inside.

"Hey little bug," she hums. She puts her hands on his shoulders. "You look so handsome. Although..."

Taehyung turns around with wide eyes. "What?"

She chuckles. "I'm kidding. You look great Tae. Can't believe you're all dressed up to go out on a date."

"You're not going to get sentimental, right?"

"No," she scowls. "But I'm not around a lot so don't I get to enjoy a lot of things that happen with you outside of the hospital. Okay?"

He nods and can't help smiling because he's definitely a mama's boy though and through.

He straightens his shirt one last time and runs a hand through his bright blonde hair-he's still not used to the color.

"Well, he should be here soon," Taehyung says happily, glancing down at his watch.

"You really like him, huh?" his mom muses.

He nods. "Yeah...a lot."

"He likes you a lot too. I can tell. So don't work yourself up and just enjoy today."

Taehyung hums in understanding and walks out to the living room, where he can keep an eye out on the driveway. He honestly would rather just be sitting outside, but he doesn't want to be too over eager.

The impatience of five minutes is too much for the male, so he turns on the television and reruns of Boys Over Flowers are playing, which he settles for. As much as he'll never admit it, he's always found Jun Pyo as attractive as every other girl on Korea.

Five minutes take too long to pass. Still no Jungkook. He glances at his phone, but it's just now two so it would be ridiculous to text him. Besides, the younger is always running late.
