Odell Pov

While Lexie was sleeping I just watched her sleep and then she finally started moving around. After couple minutes of just moving around she finally opened her eyes to me looking down at her.

" Hey beautiful how you feeling," Odell asked running his hand through her hair.

" I'm okay I wanna call my mom and see what's really going on now," Lexie said sitting up.

" I think that's the best thing I talked to your brother," Odell said.

" What he said," Lexie asked.

" Nothing much that you needed talk to y'all mom and that's what you about to do," Odell said sitting up pulling Lexie between his legs.

" Oh well I'm ready can you reach me my phone," Lexie asked laying back on Odell's chest.

" Here you go," Odell said reaching Lexie her phone.

" Thanks," Lexie said.

" You want me to give you some privacy baby," Odell asked.

" No I'll rather you stay and hear everything I'm just tell anyway," Lexie said.

" If that's what you want baby," Odell said kissing her shoulder.

I realized Lexie hand started shaking as she was trying dial her mom number. So I took the phone out her hand and kissed her cheek.

" Everything is going to be okay relax baby girl," Odell said.

" Okay thank you for everything," Lexie said kissing his lip.

" Don't thank me no more I'm doing what I'm suppose to do," Odell said smiling at her.

Lexie Pov

Once Odell gave me back my phone I called my mom on FaceTime. I can't be there in person but at least I'll be able to see her face and talk. It rung about three times then my mom picked up. I wanted to start crying but I didn't I held it in.

Phone Conversation

" Hey mama," Lexie said into the phone giving half smile.

" How you enjoying Texas baby girl," Lindsey asked.

" Mama let's cut to the chase I heard your voicemail what's really going on," Lexie asked.

" I'm sorry to leave that voicemail one but I just couldn't get in touch with you. Although I don't want you worry they caught my breast cancer at stage one.

Therefore they going cut out and do the radiation Lexie. I don't need you too worry about me I'm okay. I just wanted to let you know what's going," Lindsey said.

" I'm sorry I didn't answer the phone mama I really am," Lexie said crying now.

" Lexie listen to me I'm okay don't cry I'm be fine. Enjoy your day at your boyfriend game and we talk more later Okay," Lindsey said.

" Mom no I need to know everything right now I'll make me feel better. I need to know you be okay that you won't die," Lexie said bluntly.

My mom and I ended up talking on phone for thirty minutes. She explained everything to me and what was going on. How they planned on doing the process and how long she be in recovery.
