Chapter Three

Ariana's P.O.V:

"OH! EM! GEE!!" i woke up to the sound of my best friend screaming. "OUCH DAMN IT MILA!" Both Hayden and i were startled we fell off the couch -where we were sound asleep all cuddled up- and he almost crushed me if it werent for his arms resting on both sides of my head. He was so close. Dangerously close.

"SKYLAR JUSTIN GET Y'ALL'S ASSES DOWN HERE." Not even a minute later they both stopped at the end of the stairs as they acknowleged what they thought was going on. Hayden gets up and helps me up as well.

"Uhhhhh..." Sky starts speaking breaking the awkward silence that filled the room, "Did you guys..? on the couch..?" and of course she just HAD to ask that, can't blame her kinda looked like it, i mean i just woke up from sleeping on the couch: messy hair, messy pjs , braless...

"No! oh my god, this bitch over here, and i pointed at my way too confident best friend, startled us and we both fell."

Justin was looking at me with this huge ass smirk on his face and his right cheek revealed the single dimple he had, "Riana, boo, your hair is a fucking mess, and you're not wearing a bra."

Omfg

Someone please kill me.

"Nothing happened alright?! we were talking and we fell asleep! Jesus you guys need to cool off, besides what time is it?!" i started talking sounding half pissed, not too mad tho, i'm not mad at them. "9am" Skylar replies, "It's 9 am and i'm starving, we'll make breakfast." And she storms out of the kitchen dragging Justin with her who mouthed 'Help Me'.

Hayden was incredibily quiet,he just stoods there next to me. "Hayd are you okay? you seem kinda off." It was like i just interrupted his thoughts. "Yeah, i'm fine i was waiting for this nonsense scenery to end." he giggled.

"Honestly if i thought that way the whole time, i would've never spoken to these 3 idiots, ever." We laugh and go grab breakfast where Skylar was forcing Justin to make the pancakes while she cooked the eggs and bacon.

Monday morning at school.

It's been a whole week-end since the incident happened.. Gosh i was so not ready to face everyone. Focus Ariana.

You'll be fineeee.

They probably already forgot about it.

Oh what the heck you were dating the most popular guy at school, this will stay engraved in everyone's god damn minds.

I tried pep talking myself before entering the lion's den, my thoughts just LOVED decieving me. Great. i'm too fucking nervous.

As soon as i was going to open to the doors and march my way in, i felt a hand wrap around my waist. I hoped it was Hayden but to my disappointment it wasn't.. "Jake?" He smirks at me pulling me closer to him as he kissed my cheek. "Hey there beautiful." Oh.Hell.NO.To.The.No.No.NO

"Leave me alone.." i tried breaking free from his hold but his grip has gotten tighter.fml. "Jake i'm gonna say this one last time or else i swear to god you'll be dead at this exact same moment!!" He looks at me frowning, slowly releasing his hold on me. He was never quite the bad boy 24/7 i mean yeah he had kinky jokes but he is- i mean- was a gentleman.

He runs his fingers through his messy hair. "Ari.. just know that i'm sorry and as much as i don't deserve it, i hope you can forgive me. You don't have to give me another chance, but i just can't stand the idea of knowing you hate me..." As i looked into his eyes, i saw that little shimmer slowly fading away, i noticed the dark circles under his eyes as well.. He hasn't been sleeping well, he looks weak and tired.

"You're forgiven.." i give him a small smile and turn around to make my way into the school. I felt him watching me walk away..I felt his heart break.. But what's done, is done.

It's not even 9 A.M. yet and i just want this day to be over...

Lunch break.

"Ari?" Camila called, "Hellloooo??? Earth to Ariana!" she snaps me out of my thoughts and everyone's eyes were on me, Hayden gave me the "I'm worried about you" look. "Ria, you know you can talk to us right?" Skylar said holding my hand and resting her head on my shoulder as she was sitting next to me.

"i'm fine" i smile at them but they know me way too well to let this go.. It get's annoying sometimes."Bullshit" Justin blurts out, "I saw you and Mr.hottie two-timing cheater at the main entrance and you guys were a little too close." They stared at me as if i was dead and i came back to life right infront of their eyes. This.is. un-fucking-comfortable.

"Look nothing happened okay, he was just apologizing that's all" i snapped back at them then looking down to my food, which suddenly, doesn't look too tempting to eat. "He kissed you on the cheek." Justin glared at me, both Mila and Skyy were silent as well as Hayden, i could see Hayden's slight disappointment in his eyes and his -surprisingly- clenched jaw.

"He fell back into old habits, he let me go when i asked him to, he didn't hurt me he was honest and his apology was sincere, i'm not one to hold grudges so i forgave him , but there is no way in hell i'm going out with him." Hayden let's out sight of relief. Did i miss something? What in the world was going on.

Justin and Hayden went back to their next class while the girls and i had a free period so we ended up gossiping and talking about random things to kill time.
