Chapter Twenty-Seven

Ariana's P.O.V:

  "Ugh it's been too long since we hung out like that you guys!" Camila squealed. It was me, Justin, Mila and Sky. We've been texting but we were all so busy with our lives that we hadn't made plans for a while.

  "Yeah Mila, Justin and Sky, tell me about your boos how are things going? We really need to make plans all together!" I added. "Well.." Camila started, "Liam and I are planning on moving in together! We've been looking into affordable apartments."

  She got so excited, pulled out her phone, jumped out of her chair and showed us the picture of a very modern looking apartment. "Oh damn girl, we know why you two rushing to get your own place... two words: Making Love." He poked her cheek and winked at her.

  We all laughed and now Skylar spoke up, "Zach and I are going to the same college, we're not gonna stay on campus. His aunt has an empty apartment she said we could stay in." Sky blushed a little and looked down at her hands with a cute smile drawn on her face.

  "Awh! I'm so happy for you guys! What about you J, how are things going with Dyl? I haven't heard from him in a while."

  "Well Ari, you see Dylan got serious about his art, he's been pretty busy lately but he still makes time for  me you know? He asked me about you as well. I really think we need to get the gang together and hang." Justin explained, even though Dylan is my ex, things aren't even the slightest bit awkward, which made me pretty happy.

  We were finishing our food at the mall food court so we could get back to shopping. I needed an outfit for my really suspicious "meeting" with Hayden. "You guys I really need to find something cute and casual.. like today." My friends looked at me, "Why do you suddenly need a new outfit Ari?" Justin questioned me and smirked.

  "Well... Hayden wants to meet tomorrow at eight at our spot and I have no idea what he's plotting which is why I need something casual and NOT the same clothes I been wearing for the last two years. I seriously haven't bought anything new to wear -that isn't formal- in a while."

  They all stared at me as if they'd seen a ghost. I wonder what's up. "Hayden asked you out?!!! And you're telling us NOW?" Camila shouted, Skylar laughed and agreed with her and so did Justin.

  "It's not like I took too long, he asked me yesterday as he picked Hunter and I from the airport and I don't know what it's supposed to mean. Besides I thought you guys knew?" I looked at them with a questioning look on my face.

  "Well, ever since you and Hayden have had the whole friends with benefits, unresolved thing going on, we kind of have been giving you guys space to deal with your shit but for God's sake-- it's taking forever." Skylar continued, "So no we have no idea what you and Hayden have going on right now."

  Oh wow. I assumed Hayden would tell them but I guess it must be important if he kept our friends in the dark. We'll just have to see what goes down. I was having a hard time analyzing what Hayd was plotting, he was being really secretive and decent about it.

  "Anyway, it's only 2pm boo we have all day to find you a cute top and a pair of new jeans because you need some new ones- no offense." I hear Justin blabbering next to me, "Actually I don't have all day, I have to be home before 6pm. Erm family matters."

  "So now you, Hayden and Holly have family matters? Already? You haven't even been living with them for a year." Mila kept teasing, "We've known each other our whole lives Cami, we've had family business our whole lives." I added.

  A couple hours later, I was on my way back to Hayden's, where him, his sister and my brother were waiting for me. I ended up buying two tops and a pair of high waisted jeans. Cute but casual all the way.

  I put the bags in my room and rushed back downstairs where a group of my favorite people sat, ready to open up to each other, be honest, and cancel out all secrets that were keeping us apart.

  I went to the kitchen and made us some snacks, since, they were definitely going to be needed and that'll save us the trouble of any interruptions. We also decided it would be best to shut our phones off, at least until we were done.

  I couldn't help but notice the looks Holly and Hunter were sharing. It was adorable, they seemed happier and it showed. I'm just glad we're doing this, we needed this time to work things out. "Alright you guys," I started, breaking the ice, "who's going first?"

AUTHOR's NOTE:
Been a while, I don't really have much to say. This story is coming to end pretty soon ): It saddens me but it's a part of my life I'm ready to let go of. I'll be starting fresh real soon.
