Alexis' POV
"Another twist to the mystery Britt," I said.
"Satellites caught the glow of that stuff over the Metropolis sjy ten minutes ago," said Oliver. "I followed it."
"Wherever Goldilocks went, she got a change of clothes," I said. "It's getting stranger."
"Stranger how?" asked Brittany.
"Well, uh, it's in the middle of the night in Suicide Slums. She's standing under a streetlight," said Oliver. "She's all dollwd up with no place to go. Looks like she's making herself...a target." Oliver spoke up. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Courtney looked up at us. "Me?" asked Courtney. "What are you doing? Get out of here."
Oliver and I jumped off the roof and landed in front of her. "Red, white, and blue," said Oliver. "Loud and proud to be an American."
"Nice," I said.
"At least I'm proud of something other than myself," said Courtney.
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Oliver.
"I know what kind of hero you are, Green Arrow," said Courtney.
"Is the masked cheerleader really talking down to me?" asked Oliver.
"Where's our friend?" I asked. "Where's Clark?"
"Anyone up for some ice cream?" asked a guy. Courtney got the staff. The guy held an icicle to her neck. "Who are you supposed to be, sweetie? The new Star Spangled Kid?"
Courtney smiled. "It's Star Girl," said Courtney. "Say, cheese." She started fighting him. She dropped her staff and got back up.
The guy started shooting icicles at her. "Ollie!" I exclaimed. Oliver shot an arrow in front of the icicles.
Courtney turned to look at us and the boy disappeared. "You jaded jerk! You've just ruined everything," said Courtney. "This was my chance. I was supposed to get the first shot at Sylvester's killer. He promised me."
"He?" asked Oliver. "He who?" We heard a hawk cry. Oliver and I turned around. Before we knew it, we were in the air and thrown through the glass window of Watch Tower. I landed on my feet. "Ow."
"Oliver," I said as he took off his hood and glasses. "Are you okay?"
"He'll live," said the guy. We looked at the guy in the window. "Now, stay the hell out of our business. Next time, I won't ask so nicely." He flew away.
Oliver sat in a chair and Brittany went to go and get the first aid kit. I started helping Britt clean Oliver's cuts. "Ten to one says Pigeon Man's got Clark locked up in a birdcage somewhere," said Oliver. "I don't know who these people are but they sure don't like us. Ow!"
"I thought you said it didn't hurt," I said.
"I lied," said Oliver.
"You're lucky he didn't drop you from ten stories up," said Brittany.
"I don't feel lucky," said Oliver.
"I know I am," I said.
"Yeah, you didn't crash through the window first," said Oliver.
"We crashed at the same time," I said.
"As much as I hate to admit it, these people jnow what they're doing," said Oliver. I pushed the cotton on his cut above this eye really hard. "Ow!"
