Clark's POV
"You should," I said flying into the building. "Be Star City's newest register."
"The JLHQ is here," said Alexis.
"Alexis, we've got Metropolis covered," said Brittany. "As long as you're checking in, we're good."
"Oliver can patrol the streets of Star City and so can you," I said.
"What about our child?" asked Alexis touching her abdomen to indicate that she's carrying.
"If you ever need a lift, I'm here," I said. "I can make the trip in like, ten minutes."
"Okay, Ollie," said Alexis. "I'll move to Star City with you."
"But since you are expecting, you should hang up the leather," I said. "And badge. Maybe be Watch Tower for a while, you know."
"I probably will until the child is old enough," said Alexis. "I gotta be there for him or her if I wanna be a good parent."
"I'll be there," said Oliver.
"I'm not sure if Oliver is ready to be a parent," said Brittany.
"Considering he still acts child-ish himself," said Alexis.
"Oliver, having a kid comes responsibility," I said. "That means less drinking yourself into the gutter, more time for your child, and more family time."
"I can do that all in the morning," said Oliver. "Patrol at night."
"A baby cries," said Alexis. "When do you sleep?"
"I'll find a way," said Oliver.
"He always does," I said.
"But the JL needs some reinforcements too," said Alexis. "Clark and Brittany being the intrepid reporters at the Daily Planet." I nodded. "That doesn't mean saving the day in broad daylight or changing in the middle of the bullpen."
"I've got my changes covered," I said.
"What about Alexis and Oliver Queen?" asked Brittany.
"Oliver being a full time billionaire CEO and playboy for the next nine months until he has to be a father," said Alexis.
"And you?" I asked.
"Helping out the feds with information needed for their cases while keeping the baby healthy," said Alexis.
"It sounds like your compiling a list when we have to shut down Watch Tower," I said.
"When we do, we do our daylight jobs," said Alexis. "No more patroling until further notice."
"Are we shutting down JLHQ today?" asked Brittany.
"No, Britt," I said. "It's a just-in-case-we-get-compromised situation."
"Okay, then," said Oliver handed us a glass.
"I can't," said Alexis.
"It's sparkling cider," said Oliver. "So, a toast. To the JL family and new addition."
"No," I said. "To pulling off this double life like we've had for the past few years."
A/N: The end! I had a blast writing this Smallville fanfic. It's one of my favorite TV series of all time. Everytime the school year ends, I watch it.
