Chap 15

Oliver's POV

"Oh, yeah," I said getting out my wallet.

"Oliver carries around your marriage certificate?" asked Brittany.

"Yeah," said Alexis as I handed Brittany the certificate. "There's our proof."

"But we were drunk on the night you guys got married," said Brittany. "It was THE bachelor/bachelorette party. My party."

"We may have been drunk but it's our love that counts," I said.

"It would've been nice to have some memory of our wedding," said Alexis.

"Well, I'm glad you guys are together," said Brittany handing me the certificate. "At least we don't have to work in another outsider into the family."

"It was hard trying to work Lois Lane into the soociety along with Tess Mercer," said Alexis.

"You guys just make the perfect couple," said Brittany.

"We do, don't we?" I asked putting my arm around Alexis.

"If its any consolation, you and Clark make a great couple," said Alexis. "He's going to need you Britt. To keep him grounded."

"Oliver's going to need you to keep him in check," said Brittany.

"She does that already but her decision is hers to make and I accept that," I said.

"What decision?" asked Brittany.

"You haven't told her?" I asked.

"I was when everyone got together," said Alexis.

"Tell me what?" asked Brittany.

"This double life thing is just a little too much for me to handle," said Alexis. "I'm hanging up my leather and taking care of crimes the old fashion way."

"You need to stop and take a step back," said Brittany. "You take care of crime in the daylight as a federal agent." I sighed. "And you take care of crime at night too as the Raven Knight. Don't put her in the closet."

"Remember where that led me?" I asked. "Burning a perfectly good leather hoodie."

"Okay, fine," said Alexis. "But I have to hang up both my badge and leather for the next nine months." She frowned. "Even my incredible, comfortable high top wedges."

"You're pregnant?" asked Brittany.

"Yeah," said Alexis.

"You are?" I asked. Alexis nodded. "Oh my God." I hugged her. "We're going to be parents."

"Yeah," said Alexis. "And Brittany, I want you and Clark to be god-parents."

"We certainly can do that," said Brittany. "I can be here taking care of him or her while you're out patrolling."

"Or she can stay at home to look over our kid," I said.

"But in time our child is going to know what their daddy does other than being a billionaire CEO," said Alexis.

"I'm Green Arrow," I said. "But I was going to ask you one thing." I sighed. "It's a lot to ask but how would you like to go and live in Star City with me?"

"You want me to relocate three hours from Metropolis?" asked Alexis. "And live in Star City? What about patrol and Watch Tower headquarters?"

"We'll find a way to make it work," I said. "Just like we have everything else."
