124// This Is Halloween (NBC x SS)

~Nightmare Before Sanders~

Virgil was walking around Halloween Town. The other sides had just finished welcoming him back from his emo concert.

Roman, Virgil's ghost dog, was excited to see Virgil again. He enjoyed the emo's company. Not that he'll admit it to Virgil himself.

Virgil saw three children playing in the road. Imaj, the youngest of the three, was play fighting with Pranks while Missy (Misleading Compliments) was the referee. He laughed at the child's play and continued his walk.

Then he passed by the doctor's house. He knew the doc didn't exactly like him. He walked passed quickly, not expecting man to fall out of the window.

Virgil caught him and set him on his feet gently. He gave a small smile towards the man, and received one in return.

"Thanks for the save. Virgil, right? I'm Patton." The man stuck out a hand. Virgil shook hesitated before shaking it.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Patton. Say, what were you doing that caused you to fallout of a window?" Virgil asked as they started walking again.

"I was trying to sneak out. Logan is a bit too protective of me and doesn't want me going out much." Patton replied. He fiddled with the stitching on his jacket sleeve.

"Ah, so the doc wants to keep you locked away." Virgil nodded in understanding. He heard Roman barking and saw the lil ghost doggo "run" over to them. Patton's face lit up in excitement.

"Is he yours?" Patton asked. Virgil nodded in response. "He's adorable! What's his name?"

"Roman, but I like to call him Princey." Virgil chuckled. Patton 'awed' at the name and began to play with Roman. They were a ways from town now, in the woods.

"If you want, you could play with him tomorrow as well. He needs more friends than just me and the kids." Virgil leaned against the tree.

"I would love to Virgil! Thank you!" Patton hugged Virgil who tensed up at first but gave him a patton the back.

"No problem Patton, anything for a friend. We should get you home before Logan gets worried about you disappearing." Virgil smiled softly.

The two set course back to town, Patton being a happy child like guy and Virgil being the quiet emo he is.
