Ahh, sorry for not updating yesterday!!! My Internet got cut, so I had to go to work with my mon to get the Internet.

As it turned out, it wasn't 'just a phase.' Eren was legitimately gay, and he was terrified because of that fact. Through middle school, he dated a couple of other guys, but their maturity levels just weren't high enough for Eren, and all those relationships ended up the same way every time: with Eren calling it quits and leaving. One of his last boyfriends left him, though, because he thought Eren was cheating on him.
"Why do you always hang out with the midget then!?" The kid yelled, hurt and anger plastered onto his beet red face. He pointed an accusing finger at Eren. "You hang around him more than you ever even spoke to me!"
Eren's hurt expression suddenly turned to rage. "Don't you fucking dare insult Levi! You can do anything you want to me, but don't even think about talking about Levi like you know him!" He balled his hands into fists, knuckles turning white, fighting the sudden urge to knock the guy in the face.
"See!? This only proves my point! If you're so quick to defend him, then why don't you just go fuck around with him instead!?" With that, he turned on his heel and stormed off, feet stomping the ground as he went.
Eren felt like he needed to punch something hard, like a wall or some bitch's face. He frustratedly exhaled, his anger turning it more into a growl than anything else. Why couldn't they get it through their heads that Levi was just a friend!? Hell, Levi was his best friend, and he would never think of him in that way. He couldn't! That's just like, finding your sister attractive or something. He just couldn't! Inhaling and letting out shaky sighs to calm himself, his fists unclenched and rubbed at his face with his palms. He suddenly felt tired, like he always did after an argument, and just wanted to curl up and go to sleep. Pulling out his phone, he dialed Levi.
"What's up?" Levi asked when he picked up after the second ring.
"Are you home alone?" Eren asked, still rubbing his face with one hand, his voice taking on a defeated tone.
Levi picked up on his heavy mood immediately. "Mom and dad are out on a business trip for the weekend. Left this morning, actually."
Eren finally heaved a sigh of relief, glad that Levi could at least come through for him. "I'll be over in, like, 5."

"Not only that, but then he fucking insulted you! And that's when I was like 'Oh, hell no,' I drew the damn line at that." Eren was recounting the story to Levi, looking up at said man from where he had his head resting in Levi's lap.
Said man looked down at Eren, listening carefully to the tale that Eren told. They were both used to this by now, telling each other things and venting to one another about their problems. Though, most were told from Eren, there were few times Levi even found major problems with things. There were always minor problems, but they were more like annoying bugs, and he had told Eren of them always.
"If he didn't make you happy, he's not worth it," Levi put his two cents in, running his hands gently through Eren's messy brown locks, which were surprisingly soft for its misleading texture appearance. "I don't give two shits about what others think of me, so you don't have to stand up for my sake. Just remember, if he makes you happy, then be happy. If he doesn't, then dump his ass. If he hurts you, well, then I'll have a problem with them."
Eren gave a slow nod, relaxing his tense shoulders, glad he got everything off of his chest. He felt like he could breathe properly now, as he always did after telling Levi about what was troubling him. A small smile worked its way onto his lips. "How come you always know what to say?"
