Wow, so here it is: the last chapter. I know I haven't updated in quiet a few days, but I was busy with my first week of school.
And now, this fic has reached its end.
Thanks for all the people who have supported me till the end!!
A special POV change for this chapter!

Eren POV
I've read love stories before that begin with love at first sight, and end with happily ever after. But my love story didn't start like that.
In a book I once read, I quote "I fell in love like one falls asleep; slowly at first, then all at once." That's exactly how my case was, and I had no idea yet if my love story was going to end with a happily ever after, but I did know that in the moments I walked down that isle, clad in a white tux with my father at my arm, it didn't matter if I was in love with Levi before, because when I saw him standing at the alter in his sleek black tux, I fell in love all over again.
The wedding was all an adrenalin-filled rush. I didn't pay any attention to the details, like how many people were there, or what music they played when, my focus was sorely on Levi, and no one else. Heck, I didn't even hear any of the words spoken except for when it was time for me to say "I do".
At the reception, however, it was a completely different setting. I payed attention to almost everything around me, like when Armin nearly spilled champagne on Mikasa's dress or when Hanji tried to spike the punch bowl (which Erwin stopped her, thank god) with an unknown alcohol. I remember very clearly she. Levi and I shared our first dance together as a married couple, the way he whispered sweet words of affection into my ear brought tears of sheer joy to my eyes, unable to keep myself in check as we swayed in small circles, the rest of the world disappearing around us as I silently cried into his shoulder and he peppered my cheeks with gentle kisses. I only realized the son was over when my mother pulled me away from Levi and made me dance around with her, spinning her around as if she was a ballerina.
Mikasa caught sight of my tears during my dancing with Levi, but she only smiled and gave me a hug, not saying anything at all, and I knew that was her way of giving me her blessing.
Connie and Sasha, a couple I had met during college, were there to liven up the reception and make it a party, even going as far as to bribe the DJ into playing the Chicken Dance, which everyone, including stoic-faced Levi, joined in and danced whole-heartedly. I nearly died of laughter right then and there as I watched him dance the most enthusiastically out of all of us. While he wasn't looking, I looked over to Hanji, who had been filming the whole thing, and mouthed at her to send me a copy later. She replied with a grin and two thumbs up.
Levi and I planned a week get-away for our honeymoon in Florida, in a resort right on the beach. We were greeted with the sight of rose petals spread all over the bed and heart- shaped jacuzzi tub, filled with steaming water and surrounded by lit candles. Lets just say that the romantic scene didn't stay in tact long enough to fully appreciate them, if you know what I mean.
Lying in the plush bed, curled up in Levi's arms, was the highlight of the day. Honestly, it didn't truly matter that we had a wedding and big reception, or that we took a trip to Florida and made love in the bath and bed, as long as Levi was there. We could've been sleeping in a tent out in the middle of the woods, for all I cared, I just wanted to be here, in Levi's warm arms, reminiscing in what was our lifetime friendship. It may not be our happily ever after yet, because we were just getting started, but it would be just fine for now and for ever.

I may or may not write an epilogue.
This chapter is unedited.
I don't know if I'll be writing anything soon, because I don't know what you guys want to read. I'll still take any suggestions, but I don't know when I'll get anything up.
Comments and votes greatly appreciated.
