Chapter 11: Tears for Fears

Ahh, a new chapter!! I told you I would get one out today!!! As for the smut chapter, I will do it, though it won't be until the next chapter or two, and it might take me a couple of days to write. And, I'm not the best at writing smut, I've only written it once in experimentation. But, enough of my rambling, here's the new chapter!!!

When Monday rolled around, two days later, Eren and Levi came to the conclusion to be honest to their friends, if they asked about them. They weren't going to hide their relationship, but they weren't going to be extremely open with it, like making out between classes and such.

The first day was awkward, most definitely. It was the day the two were finding their boundaries, and how far things could be pushed before being classified as 'too much'. Kisses were exchanged, cuddling ensued, hair was played with, and maybe a couple make-out sessions, but no touching like when they were drunk played out. They kept their shirts on, and hands onlu went so far as to wrap around the other, holding them close.

When Levi's parents came to get him Sunday evening, as promised, Levi didn't hesitate to give Eren a parting kiss, as his mother was watching. The woman was only excited for the two, a big grin spread across her face. Levi's father walked in just a few moments later, and his mother instantly went to babbling on about how her son has finally found true happiness. Levi's dad gave a smile of approval.

Since Eren's parents would arrive home until Wednesday, the news would have to wait to reach them. Levi seemed a bit nervous about that, but Eren just chuckled at his friend's - no, boyfriend - pointless fear, saying that they wouldn't mind at all. They didn't care about Eren's sexuality one bit, and they had even mentioned a couple of times that Levi would be the ideal Son-in-Law, which Eren usually would roll his eyes at and point out that Levi had been dating Petra at the time, which he wasn't anymore, but he could just hear them now, telling him, "I told you so!"

"Just come over Wednesday, after school, and we'll tell them together," Eren remarked over the phone, chuckling again as Levi complained on the other line.

"What if they don't accept me as your boyfriend? I'm not exactly the best guy in the world," Levi mumbled, his tone filled with worry and defeat.

"But you're the best guy in the world for me," Eren told him matter-of-factly. "If the don't accept you, even though I just know they will, then they'll just have to deal with it because you belong to me and I'm not going to give you up so easily."

Levi murmured incoherently on the other line, sounding embarrassed. "S-shut up, Eren."

That Wednesday, after school, Levi walked home with Eren, holding his hand most of the way there, until they got close to his home. Levi let his hand drop back to his side, and Eren made no complaints, knowing exactly why Levi had done that. He felt a bit nervous himself, but for entirely different reasons.

"Shit, they're going to have our asses," Eren grumbled, a pout forming on his lips. Levi's head shot to the side, eyes widening at his sudden statement.

"What? Why? Why would you tell me this now when you're house is literally right there!?" Levi pointed to the red-bricked building that belonged to The Jaegers. "Jesus, I'm freaking out and you aren't helping."

"Relax, I'm not talking about you. They love you, they'll more than likely squish you to death in a hug." Eren paused, chewing on his lip. "I'm talking about how we drank nearly half of the alcohol in the entire house, not to mention that was in their secret stash. Which was hidden in their bedroom." He paused his sentence to huff a sigh. "They're going to kill us..."
