I wash my body.when I get dried off,I walk to my bedroom.my mom puts my hair in two braids,and I put on my reaping outfit.It's my sisters old one.i say to my mom,"it's too big!I have a tail in the back,like a duck!".my mom just tells me to go to the town square.i start to panic because I don't know what to do.she says to me "hush up and walk to the square".as I walk down the old path I watch the mockingjays tweet from high branches.I start to sing, "are you,are you coming to the tree"and the birds sing back after I finish."were the dead man calls.."I stop.i see peacekeepers everywhere.i quickly start moving to the square.they prick my finger,I hate it.as I get in place I see Effie Trinket come on the stage.she is one of those silly Capitol people.i know I have a good chance of being picked because I almost when hungry and had to take tesserae.i hold my breath as she sticks her hand in the reaping bowl.then says "Our female tribute is.."
