Chapter 5

When I wake up,I'm in a bed.I have Peeta and somebody looking at me I don't know,I also see Effie pacing on the other side of the room.she is saying something about makeup,bruises and something that sounds like Cinna.Haymich is nowhere to be found,and I start to panic.the woman I don't know says it's ok and that she is a nurse,and Peeta tells me that everything is alright.I start shooting out questions,"Where am I?How long was I asleep?What happened?"Peeta says,"slow down"in a playful and caring voice.then he starts answering my questions "you are still on the train,you have been asleep for a hour,and you fainted because of stress and lack of food. don't worry you'll be ok.".Effie now notices I'm awake and comes over."Look at you!all bruised up and weak!Cinna is gonna have a hard time making you look nice!" she says. As my anger returns from the morning,Haymich comes in.he starts walking towards me.he is visually drunk.Peeta must notice because he tells him that I'm ok and that we got it taken care of.when Haymich is gone,Effie says,"Well come to dinner tonight"the nurse tells her that I probably should rest and have the dinner brought to me.Effie looks stressed because she doesn't get her fancy first meal with all of us,so she can talk about Capitol stuff.the nurse leaves me with Peeta wail she talks with Effie. "I just want to die"I tell Peeta.he says,"don't worry it will get better and so will you".its strange how he is so nice to a girl like me."I guess so.are you going to dinner?" I question."Yes,so Effie doesnt go totally crazy".we both laugh."I have to go but I'll bring your food to you" he says in a calm gentle voice."ok see you then"I say as he is at my door.after he leave I start to close my eyes.i think to myself,everything is gonna be alright.
