-Third Person-

Elsa and Rapunzel has left a few weeks ago to go for an event concerning their family in Arendelle. It probably didn't matter, just a normal family trip. They soon came back, but Elsa still wasn't the same. Her friends always would try to cheer her up though it never seemed to work. Tonight was Halloween and all of the school would celebrate at the grand Halloween feast. Yet something was wrong, Elsa was nowhere to be seen...

•Merida•

Where is she? She should have been here by now. Oh well, it's not like we were celebrating at all. We ditched the cat ear idea since Elsa wasn' in the mood. Sometimes she just breaks down. I shook the though' out of my mind because I deserve a break. I can't watch over the lass forever anymore. All of our classes were over and we were attending at the feast. I of course was stuffing my gobber with as much food as possible. I though' I saw a pair of dark green eyes grin at me from above, and I almost choked on my food. I seemed to be the only one that heard an almost soundless giggle, after that. Really Di?

I chuckled at myself and continued to dig into the extravagant roast beef, beautifully orange moist pumpkin bread, a scrumptious apple cobbler, mouth watering chocolate chip cookies, and more beyond comparison. Food is the best thing that has ever been invented. Especially cookies. Though I'm pretty sure that archery is even better than that! The thrill of the wind in your hair as you swiftly draw the arrow to your cheek, and let go watching the arrow find its mark. But quidditch is also amazing as well! Whizzing past others on the fastest broom, neck and neck with the other seeker with the snitch just out of arms reach. Slowly pushing past your rival and out stretching your arm as your hand clamps shut around the small golden ball. Your house screaming your name as your take your victory lap around the field holding the prized snitch above your head and- a small gasp erupts me from my thoughts.

I turn around and it appeared as if nobody else noticed it. Suddenly something falls into my hair, hard. It looks like a wood chip, nasty little thing. I look up to see that Di is no longer swinging above me. I can see her running across the beams, frantically diving into a small hole and disappearing from my sight. She seemed terrified of something. Well, who wouldn't be considering that they dropped something IN MY HAIR! I'll get you later... but in the meantime I can enjoy this delicious feast. Just as I take a ginormous bite of my cake the lights start to dim until they completely flicker out. I hear people's worried whispers echoing across the great hall. There's a faint sound at the same time. Something is dragging across the floor, it kind of sounds like Punzel's hair, but it seems to be coming from every direction, spreading to the middle of the room. The sound also seems to become louder and softer at the same time. Now that I think about it, the noise kind of sounds like sand? But from all the constant logic talk from Punzel, it doesn't make sense. Sand doesn't move on it's own! Even I know that. Before I can figure out the reason the lights turn back on as sudden as they turned off. I blinked a couple times until I finally adjusted to the new light. What I saw before me made me doubt that my eyes were working properly.

A tall lean man was standing in the center of a giant pile of black moving sand. Occasionally I could see horses made out of the sand. The man himself looked gray, had spiked back black hair, wore a long black dress (he might say it's a robe, but we both know it's a dress.), and hungry looking, ugly, pale, glowing yellow eyes. Wow... he looks as if the wind could knock him over.

"What are you doing here, Pitch Black!" Headmaster Moon yelled at the dress dude.

That, was Pitch Black. One of the worst villains ever talked about! Now I suddenly regretted my decision of making fun of him.

"Mani Moon, I thought you'd be pleased to see me! Thought you'd throw me a huge welcome party with balloons and everything! You really hurt my feelings you know?" Pitch Black spoke, (with an annoying British accent I may add) clearly mocking the headmaster. "No matter, I only came here for one reason. I just need to find the fear and I'll be gone. Surely you could allow me this?"

"Who would ever fear, you!" I found myself shouting. "You're just an emo toothpick who mopes around!"

"Merida DunBroch, I would suggest not speaking illy to your future ruler. A bad decision to make." Pitch Black spoke looming over me. "But I have other matters to look after. NIGHTMARES! Find the one who fears the most!"

My face paled as the horses raced past me down the hallways. I knew where they were going. The girls' restroom on the second floor.
