Have you ever felt like it hurt more to breath than not breath? That whatever efforts you're putting in is doing more harm than good? Well that's what Elsa felt like. Every breath felt as if she were trying to swallow burning not lava that could possibly disintegrate her.

Honestly, it would have been so much easier to fall back asleep. But she couldn't. Again as previously stated, her mouth was burning which clearly ment her throat was as dry as the Sahara Desert, her head ached as if knocked on the head with a bag of the world's strictest bricks, and her eyes seemed to be glued shut. Now mentioned a third time, her dry throat needed a soothing cool down quickly. But like her eyes, her body seemed unable to respond to any commands making it seemingly impossible to get up for a glass of water. She wouldn't be able to ask for help because, well the reason is already apparent enough.

So all poor Elsa could do was wait. Wait, wait, and wait. But soon enough, her throat only got worse to were she could barely let out a squeak of alarm. Yet she still would have to try.

"Ehhhh,"

Her voice was high pitched, but low at the same time. Basically she sounded like a combination of a dying rat and a goat that just competed at top speed in five events in the Olympics only to find out they got beat by a sloth that participated in seven events and got first in all of them by a landslide. Yeah, which means Elsa' s voice was a pitifully terrifying thing to hear. Scolding herself for utter embarrassment, she tried again.

"Waaaaah-eeeeer," her voice tried but could barely form the correct sounds for a single word. "Waaah-er, peeeaaas."

Luckily for Elsa, a nurse had barely heard hee. At first she dismissed it as nothing, but after Elsa's second attempt she quickly understood.

"Oh dear, you're awake! Let me get you some water." The nurse said, I still in a bit of shock. With that she quickly left and soon returned with a nice cup of water. "Sorry bout that, how are you doing? The professors said that you had a pretty nasty night."

Elsa was still a bit dazed. Her eyes wouldn't open, but the nurse seemed oddly familiar. But that was nothing compared to eye opening realization she came across. Well it wasn't exactly eye opening since her eyes were still jammed shut. But she couldn't recall what had happened the night before. That was an extremely odd since this has never happened to her before. She seemed to have an even remarkable memory of she did say so herself. But forgetting an entire night? That was just bizarre. So to answer the unknown nurse's question she could only let out a puzzled sound.

"Uh?"
"It must've been a really rough night if you don't remember it! I mean fear showed up himself!"
"Eh!?! "
"Wha am I doing? You should be taking a sip, not chatting with me! Now here ya go."

The nurse helped pour the freezing cold drink down her throat. It didn't seem nearly as dry anymore, but she still could draw together enough sounds to talk. The nurse seemed to realize this and let out a small chuckle.

"I think it's off to bed with you, don't ya think? You need to regain your strength. Night, have sweet dreams." The nurse's voice was oddly soothing, and reminded Elsa of her own mother. It seemed to lure her off to a blissful sleep, where nothing should go wrong.

But the moment she fell asleep, it all began to change. Instead of the joy she was promised a cruel nightmare seemed to stretch out before her. Blood and death and famine surrounded her, closing in on her. But most of all, sharp black shards of sand towered above her. It seemed especially cruel as it stretched around in an almost curious way. And with that, the sand came crashing down upon her and she screamed at the top of her lungs. But it was of no use, for she would be drowned under the evil shards no matter what she did.

(A/N (PLEASE READ)) Hello my lovely readers it is I, Slywolf89, and I have come back from the beyond to continue this story. Anyways, how do you like my new writing style? Should I change it because it brings such an incredible cringe to your poor eyes, or do you actually like it. This is actually kinda important because I will most likely use whatever style you prefer from now on. So please leave your comments to inform me of your opinion. And sorry I haven't updated in forever but here this is! Now I'm stopping because this is the end of this chapter. So bye.

-EDIT-

So I have this book called Random Thoughts, which is literally just things I think about sometimes. Check it out if you want but if you don't want to, you don't have to.
