Chapter Twelve -The Big Game

Weeks passed by after the quidditch tryouts. Jack and Hiccup became seekers, while I became a beater. Ah and the big game between Gryffindor and Slytherin is tomorrow! I know me team is gonna pummel those Slytherins. We've been practicin for days now! I looked over at me dorm mates Tiana, Mulan, and Vanellope were sound asleep. I decided to get my rest too, so I wasn't tired for the big game.

I woke up to Vanellope poking my sides while shouting at me. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" Over and over again.

"Ah I'm already awake, no need for the shoutin!" I groan to her only to be greeted by her huge smile.

"Come on aren't you excited for the game? It's the first one of the season!" Vanellope said earnestly.

"I am, but there's no need to injure your beater! I could let the bulgur hit he, ya know!"

"I wasn't trying to, I only wanted to wake you up because some Ravenclaw students are waiting for you outside of the entrance!"

Shoot. I scramble out of me bed and get dressed quickly to meet Punzel and Elsa. I found them waitin for me, but I ran past them to get some food, and they raced after me. They caught up with me as I grabbed an apple. Elsa grabbed a muffin, while Punzel grabbed both. We laughed as we walked towards our favorite tree. We reached there as we heard a familiar voice call out.

"Elsa you're still wearing gloves?!?" We turned around to find Jack and Hiccup walking towards us.

She gave him one of her famous arched eyebrows as she replied. "And that's a problem because?" This made me and Punzel snicker at her snarky comment.

"Uh it's kind of hot outside, in case you haven't noticed?"

"It's not that hot out."

"Fine, fine! Whatever you say." Jack said teasingly holding his hand hands in mock surrender. Elsa only rolled her eyes.

"You do realize the game starts in half an hour?" She replied crossing her arms. "Or were you too caught up in asking me about gloves?"

Me and Jack exchange shocked glances as we sprint down the hall ways to grab our uniforms and head to the locker rooms. We split up as I head into the Gryffindor's section, then turned into the female's locker room. I quickly got changed as I headed out to the main area to meet the others.

"So what's the plan?"

"You and Robin, will be hitting the buldgers away from the chasers. You two will also get in the middle of their offense as a distraction. Chasers will use a strong offense. I will be looking for the snitch." Our captain Pocahontas explained. "Ok lets go out there and win this!"

We walked outside to the fields and the two captains shook hands.

"Now I want a nice clean game today," Professor Tooth said looking mostly at the Slytherin's captain. "Mount you brooms
please!" And with that she blew her whistle signaling the start of a game.

I flew across the field, weaving my way past their chasers. There were few points scored, twenty to ten in Gryffindor's favor.

"Another goal for Gryffindor! Neck and neck this game is!" I heard Ariel Seas shout over the intercom.

I looked near our goal, and see a bludger heading straight for, our keeper Peter.

"Look out Peter!" I tried to shout to him.

He frantically looked towards me in confusion. I turned away as I heard a thunk. I turned away to see that two Slytherins were high giving each other. You're not getting off easy. I saw a bludger heading straight for me, and took a swing aiming for their keeper. Another thunk was heard, as their keeper fell. Suddenly my broom spun as two people zoomed past me. I turned to see them chasing the snitch, head to head. Just as Pocahontas was about to grab it, Jack snatched the snitch out of the air.

"That's 160 to 30, Slytherins win!" Ariel shouted as the Slytherins went berserk in their victory.

Eww, I quickly turned my head as I saw a couple making out. I flew to the ground and walked up to Jack.

"Nice job ye did there, bu' we'll get ya next time." I laugh shaking his hand.

"You too, I saw what you did to Gaston. Great hit, knocked him right out!" He teased me as we headed back to the castle. I took a deep breath and smiled. We'll get em next time.
