Chapter 8: Blood

Jack's Pov

Dammit... i'm starting to remember the past again... not again...

I ran off from Elsa and Anna and raced home on my motorcycle, i had to get away from the school... bad things happen when i snap, good thing i can hold in my ice in for about 10 minutes, thats why i have to drive as fast i can...

I made it home and stormed in "Jack! what are you-" Tiana asked, i ran pass her and locked myself in my room, i shouted from the top of my lungs and fainted...

Elsa's Pov

I walked back to Anna completely confused about Jack's behavior... i only became curious...

Anna was standing in the same spot i left her with the kids i sat with in lunch "Elsa! where's Jack??" Punzie freaked while holding my shoulders

"He left on his motorcycle..." i frowned

"Tell me what happened!" i looked at Anna...

"He started remembering his past..." she looked down, the group gasped wide eyed, what? why did they gasp?

"Eugene! Hiccup! go get him! Elsa, Anna, lets go back to class" Eugene and Hiccup ran off

"Wait! what happened!" They ignored me and was out of sight, i looked at Punzie "Punzie you have to tell me what happened! i don't wanna be the one to cause him to be hurt!" i started to cry, i don't wanna be the reason for something bad again, i don't wanna!

"Elsa! its okay! don't cry! Its not your fault!" Anna frowned, i cupped my eyes

"I cant be the reason again! i just cant!" I was losing it, Punzie slapped me across the face, i held my cheek and stared at her in shock

"It wont be your fault Elsa, this happened before..." she frowned

"What happened before..?" she shook her head and held my cheeks

"I cannot tell you... i promise to not tell his secret..." secret..? "you just have to trust me... tell you what, i'll text Anna to tell you if he's okay or not later, okay?" i nodded calming down...

"Okay..."

"Great... what class you have next?"

"Art..."

"Us too, come on, we'll be late" her and Anna took my arms and jogged me to the Art room, Merida ran behind me... please don't let me be the cause of something... Jack seems like a good guy... he helped me out on not giving up... i hope he's alright...

Eugene's Pov

"Come on Hiccup! get in!" i told Hiccup while getting in my red camero, he obeyed and we drove to Jacks house, i hope he's okay... bad things happen when ever he snaps...

We were 14 years old, just a year after Jack decided to come out his room after being a shut-in for 5 years...

He came out almost boney and pale with cuts on his arms... under his eyes were black... he kinda looked like a panda with the new hairstyle and blue eyes we never seen before...

He rarely ate while he was a shut-in, his maid tried to convince him to come out but no luck... his food was always left in his door step, he makes sure noone was around before he takes the food, and returned the trey 3 days later empty...

He eats very little... the guards tried to get him out the room but he makes a wall of ice to block everyone from looking at him...

When he finally came out and revealed himself to the 'guardians' when we were all 13, he was terrible... we had no idea where the cuts were from, we thought of how he got them since they weren't blade related, we thought it was a icicle related... but no, these cuts were all over his body, places he couldn't reach with his hands...

The four of us stayed with him until he was heathy again... He started to speak again just a week later, he regained his body weight and started laughing again, thats when he told us about his ice powers! his gift was amazing!

But months later, that gift turned out to not only be gift, but also a curse... Jack found a newspaper of his families death, this caused him to snap and run to his room, we ran after him and noticed that he locked himself...

We heard shouting and a thump, we were determined to go into his room, after we got in... it was the most terrifying thing we were saw...

We arrived at his mansion and stormed inside, no servants was to be found, we ran to where Jacks room was and saw many of his servants surrounding his room door

"Make way!" Hiccup shouted as we passed everyone, i banged on the door

"Jack! are you okay!?" i yelled, there was no answer, dammit... "We need everyone to step back more!" i shouted at everyone, they moved to the other side of the room , "ready Hiccup?" i asked, he nodded and we tried to slam the door down with our bodies, after a few tries, the door finally broke and landed backwards revealing the room

We ran in and saw icicles surrounding Jack, not even a inch apart from his flesh... he was passed out in a bloody mess!

Hiccup and I broke all the ice and carried him to his bed, every part of his body had deep cut... this didn't look good...

Tiana ran in and observed Jack's bloody body, she started to tear up "oh no... not again" she cried cupping her mouth, Jacks eyes opened and noticed us

"Hey guys..." he said without emotion in his face, he tried to sit up but he landed back down in pain

"Don't move, we'll get you clean" Hiccup said calmly and walked out

"It happened again didn't it?" Jack asked, i nodded and ran my hand in my hair, sighing

"What happened? no- don't tell me, we don't need this to happen again" he sighed and talked to Tiana for awhile before Hiccup came back with a bucket of water and a rag to give to Tiana, she gently cleaned off Jack's blood

"Hows Elsa?" Jack asked looking at the ceiling "shes not going to be a shut-in again, is she?" Hiccup and I looked at each other confused

"She was a shut-in?" Hiccup asked "why?"

"I don't know... But i don't want her to go through the same thing i did..." he sighed, Tiana finished cleaning, he slowly sat up, Rapunzel should come later and fix those wounds with her magic hair "i feel bad for scaring her..."

"Yeah... with that phobia and all" i scratched my head, he sighed and the made the broken ice disappear

"Gotta stay calm and not mention my past again" we nodded "what time is it?"

"Only an hour after lunch ended" Hiccup told him, he nodded and laid back on his bed

"You guys go to school, i'll just stay here and see you tomorrow"

"You sure?" I asked

"Yeah, thanks a lot for your help... I'm glad i have friends like you" he smiled

"What are friends for?" Hiccup smiled,

"We'll be back" after saying good-byes, the two of us went back to school
