My outfit today was planned for the overcast weather outside. I wore a bomber jacket with a crop top and tight jeans. I desperately wanted to put my oversized hoodie on, but I was trying to see how long I could go without falling back into my comfort zone. I couldn't help but keep in mind what Cameron said, though. I realized I was changing up my style for a guy but it wouldn't last forever.

I arrived to school, observing the thick, grey clouds above me. The dark sky made me feel sleepy, so I could tell I was probably going to be more quiet than usual today.

I didn't see Dylan by his locker this morning, or in class. I sighed, thinking I could've worn my sweater today. Dylan wasn't even at school today, so this outfit was basically a waste. Maybe it was a sign I could just wear my oversized clothes again.

When the bell rang, I lazily scrolled through my phone and saw a couple notifications from Layla. They were mostly memes.

I looked up from my phone to see Cameron animatedly talking to Danny and Marco. I saw a paper in his hands and remembered he had his math exam this morning.

I quickly made my over to them, and asked Cameron how his test went.

He smiled and turned his paper towards me. Marco answered, "The kid's turning into a genius." The paper had a C+ written on the corner in red ink. Even though it isn't the best grade, I felt so proud of Cameron's hard work because I knew how much he hated taking tests.

"Cameron! That's so good! I'm so proud of you," I said, happy for him. "To celebrate, we're going to eat cold pizza."

He chuckled at my suggestion. "I think we both deserve it. Couldn't have done it without my tutor," he said with a playful wink.

Danny and Marco looked back and forth between us, and when I looked over at them, they immediately turned their attention inside of Cameron's locker. Danny spoke up, "Hey, where's Layla? We all getting pizza later?"

That sounded like a good idea. I knew Layla would be down because she really hit it off with Danny and Marco, and who would say no to pizza? I replied, "I think she's at the other side of the building, but yea I can text her for pizza."

Danny and Marco headed for class while Cameron stayed behind to put his test away and grab some things for his locker. He said, "I owe you."

I looked around before saying to him, "Once I get a date with Dylan, your debt will be paid."

He messed with his hair and replied, "I'm working on it."

I smiled, not wanting to put too much pressure on him, so I didn't reply.

"So when you do want to come over?" he asked, changing the subject.

I was lost for a moment, but then I realized he must be talking about getting pizza. It was a rainy day, so it made sense that we would just stay in. "Oh, it's up to you. I've got nothing going on anyway," I said.

He shut his locker and I followed in his footsteps as he continued walking to class. "Well after school feels too soon, how does 5 sound?"

I nodded, "I'll be there."

He smiled and walked off to class, and I sent Layla a quick text to let her know.

After school, Layla decided to come over to my house so we could just drive to Cameron's together. I noticed that she liked having a few more friends in our group even though I wouldn't consider myself best friends with Cameron, Danny, and Marco. But it was still nice to just hangout with more people.
