A/N: It's raining where I live for the first time in forever since summer has started. I've missed the rain.
**Also! I try not to pick what the readers wear or how they style their hair/makeup because I know everyone has different preferences. All I'm gonna say is that something like that happens in this chapter. (:

I wake up feeling well rested, I close my eyes and I stretch, then sit up. I look out the window to see raindrops racing down the window, which always reminds me of Zane. Zuddles walks between Zane and I, then lays down and starts to purr as I pet him. I look over at the clock on the bedside table, which reads 9:13 AM. Zane continues to rest while I play with his messy hair. He hasn't admitted it, but I can tell that he really likes it when I play with his hair.
I let Zane sleep longer, till it starts getting closer to 10. "Hey," I nudge him, "You don't want to sleep in too late, do you?" He starts waking up, and says, "I guess I should wake up. What time is it?" "Around 10," I tell him. Zane yawns, and the cat jumps off of the bed. The sun starts to peak through the clouds causing the room to light up, and it's starting to stop raining.
Zane gives me a kiss on the cheek, then says, "I think I'm gonna go make some coffee." He leaves the bedroom, and heads to the kitchen to make his coffee. Once he leaves, I look over at his mask. I'm curious to what he'd say about me wearing it. I grab his mask and put it on, then leave the room.
I step down the last couple steps of stairs, then walk into the kitchen and stand next to Zane. His coffee begins to brew, then he turns and gives me a kiss. He pulls away and looks confused, then realizes I've put on his mask. I smile underneath the mask. "Why are you wearing my mask? Now I can't kiss your lips," Zane pouts. "Now you know how I feel. I just wanted to see what you'd say about it," I tell him. He smiles, "You look cute like you always do." I take off the mask, then set it on the kitchen counter. Zane lifts up my chin, and we kiss again. I wrap my arms around his neck, until we pull away.
Zane grabs the creamer and starts to pour it into his coffee. While he does that, I pick up Zuddles's water bowl and refill it. "I don't think I put enough creamer in this," Zane says after taking a sip of his coffee. "Oh, well then put some more in?" I suggest. He sighs, "I used the last of it." "Aw, I'm sorry, baby," I tell him. "It's alright, it still tastes okay," He says.

"What should I wear today?" Y/n asks me. She's looking at the closet, puzzled. I almost say something sarcastic like telling her simply, "clothes," but I stop myself. "Hm, maybe something cozy? The both of us aren't busy today," I suggest. "That's true, but I still don't know what?" She says, and sits down next to me on the edge of the bed. I grab a (color of choice) sweater out of the closet. "How about this?" I ask her. She nods.
Y/n looks up at me, then takes off the shirt she had been wearing as pajamas. I feel myself blush slightly, then I put her sweater over her head and she pushes her arms through the sleeves. "Oh, I should put on warm socks too," Y/n says. She grabs a (color of choice) pair of socks and puts them on. They reach up to her thigh. She looks adorable.
My phone dings and I see that Aphmau sent me a text. I open it and it says, "Hey! We're gonna have pizza and play games at my place around 5 if you and Y/n wanna come (ᵔᴥᵔ)" Y/n puts on a skirt then looks up at me, curious to know who texted me. "Aphmau invited us over for games and pizza around 5, would you want to go?" I ask her. She nods her head, "Sounds like fun. How many people do you think will be there?" "I don't know, but I guess we'll find out," I tell her.
"You look adorable," I say, changing the subject.
Y/n smiles. "Well, you helped pick out the outfit."
"You do like it, right?"
"Yes, I really like it. Thank you, Zane." Y/n says, then gives me a kiss on the cheek.

A/N: I'm not dragging this book on too long am I? I was slow on updates for awhile and now I'm updating more often and starting to enjoy writing it more.
I would make a second book but I'm not sure.
I don't have a set chapter limit on this book, it just doesn't feel right to end it yet.
