Zeke's P.O.V.

We rode in on the cool skeletal horses behind Kronos. But it still felt weird to call Luke "My Lord".

I saw Percy, Annabeth and Sierra stabbing at monsters. Percy and Annabeth were fierce but Sierra was terrifying.

Her face set in a sneer, her long brown hair braided down her back, and her disintegrating monsters. "Wow, she's beautiful," I muttered. The monsters had backed off.

The three of them were staring at Kronos. Then, Sierra's eyes flicked through the crowd. She made eye contact with me and raised her sword. She put it in front of her lips, like when you put your finger to your lips to quiet someone, and slowly moved it down.

Now, that hurt. When we were kids at camp, we had made that up to say we wanted to kill someone or something. When I thought of that I got a flashback from when we were eight.

*Flashback*

"Come on, slowpoke!" Sierra shouted over her shoulder. "I'm coming! I'm not as fast as you, ya know!" I shouted to her. She laughed in response.

We were running through the woods at night. We had snuck out after lights out and went to our secret place in the woods. It was this really big, hollowed out log we had cleared everything out of.

We had covered it up to make it look natural so no one would get in. I slid in after her and we sat down.

She smiled, one of her teeth in front gone, her eyes full of mischief, and her hair messily put in a braid. "I got something," she said. She had a smile like the Stoll brothers when they had done something. "What?" I asked, a little nervous.

She opened a bag and pulled out a box of a dozen Dr. Peppers. I smiled. "Where'd you get that?" I asked. "Zack can get you anything for a few drachmas." We laughed. We popped a can each. "To my birthday!" she said. It was her birthday. "To your birthday!" I repeated. We each took a gulp. "I got you something," I said, a little embarassed.

"You did?" she asked with a huge smile. I held out a little box. I put it in her hand. She slowly opened it and gasped. "It's beautiful!" she said, holding up the little silver ring with a little diamond on it. She put it on and hugged me. "Where did you get this?!?" "I made it," I blushed. She smiled. She gave a kiss on the cheek.

"I love it."

*End of flashback*

I sighed at the memory. I looked around. Everyone was fighting. I jumped off my horse before they could slash his legs. I ran into the fight. All I did was swing blindly. I heard groans. I turned and struck Sierra in the side.

Her hand flew to her side. She stared at me in horror. Then the horror turned to rage. She pushed me to the edge of the bridge. I fell down to the water. I tried to make it a dive. Whatever I did, worked. I didn't die. But I did find out something else.

I could breathe underwater.
