Zeke P.O.V.

I looked around the room at all the shocked faces. The only one who didn't look shock was Sierra.

She looked kinda confused. She stood up and came closer.

As I prepared for the slap or hit that usually came, she just stared at me. She put a hand on my cheek. I was extremely confused.

Then all of the sudden, she slapped me! Straight across the face.

"Hey!" I shouted. "What was that all about?" Hermione asked.

"I don't know. It just felt right," she said. Percy and Ron laughed, Hermione rolled her eyes, and Sierra looked kinda embarrassed.

"I have an idea!" Hermione said suddenly. We all turned to her. "She's know him longer than the rest of us, right?" We nodded.

"Well, what if we left them alone and she might remember more!" I saw there eyes widen. "He's the enemy!" Percy said.

"Disarm him," Hermione said simply.

Five minutes later, me and Sierra were sitting alone in a room. She just stared at me. All the hatred was gone. Her face was clear of emotion. She sat there, legs crossed, just staring at me.

"You gave me the ring," she said suddenly. I looked at her finger. It was right there. The ring I had made her so many years ago.

"You threw it at me that night," I whispered.

*FLASHBACK*

"Sierra, I-I need to tell you something," I told her. "Okay, what?" I looked at the people behind her.

"Ooohh! Come on lets go," she said, grabbing my arm. We went into the woods and into our tree stump. She was eleven and I was twelve.

"What'd you wanna tell me?" she asked, popping a blueberry into her mouth. "Want one?" she asked. I nodded. "Where'd you get these?" I asked.

"I told ya, dumbo. Jerry can get anything for a few drachmas." I nodded. I looked at her smiling face. This was the last time I'd see her smiling, I thought.

"So what'd you wanna tell me?" she said. "I, um, I think we should do this some where else," I said, stalling for time to think how I was gonna tell her.

"Um, okay," she said, stepping out of the log. We sat under a tree. "We should go somewhere else," I said.

"Just tell me! What is it?" she said. I sighed. She was so beautiful. Her eyes shining, her cheeks rosy from the cold winter air. That just made this so much harder.

"You're going to hate me," I whispered. "Come on, just tell me or I'll just go." I sighed. "I-I-I,"I stuttered.

"You know what? I'm leaving," she said, standing up and starting to walk away. "I joined Kronos' army!" I blurted, instantly regretting it. She whipped around.

"You what?!?" I saw pure anger on her face. "I, um, joined Kronos' army," I whispered. She stared at me.

"Why?" she asked, a tear slipping down her rosy cheek. "Sierra, I'm so sorry, please," I said coming toward her.

"Don't touch me! I hate you! You betrayed Camp! You betrayed me!" she said, more tears slipping down. She turned and started to walk away.

"Sierra, let me explain!" I said, catching up to her.

"You know, I should have know. Everyone else in my life has done this to me! Why not add you!" she said. "Danni, Bryan, heck even my own mother didn't want me!"

She pulled off the ring I had made her off and threw it at me. "I don't want your stupid ring anymore!" She ran away.

I wanted to follow her, but I knew I couldn't. I bent down and picked up the ring. I pulled out a piece of paper from my pocket and and a pen. I wrote:

Dear Sierra, I hope you'll forgive me for this, but I am so angry at the Gods! Our fathers don't care for us. I really hope you'll forgive me. Zeke.

I place both inside our old hollowed out log. I really hope she'll forgive me

*FLASHBACK END*

As we sat in the room quietly. I noticed how she didn't act like herself. She acted so... Wrong.

"What night?" she asked. "You don't remember," said in disbelief. She shook her head.

"It's so frustrating!"she said, standing up. "What is?" I asked.

"Everything's all jumbled up in my head! People, their faces, names, what they did. I hate it!" I smiled. "What's with the dorky smile?" she asked, making me smile even wider.

"That sounds so much like my old Sierra," I said. Then a thought occurred. 'What if I could get Sierra to believe I never betrayed her?'
