Ron's P.O.V.

Kronos looked me over. "You're not much. How'd you knock out my best?" he asked, looking somewhat curious.

"Wizard," I said simply. He nodded like that explained everything.

"I'd bet Luke'd be able to take you down," he muttered to himself. "But you still could be useful to me." He sat, contemplating for a minute.

"You want a job, Ron?" he asked. "Why would I want a job from you?" I retorted.

"So I don't kill them," he replied simply. I paled. I knew who he was talking about. Sierra and Hermione. "What would you want with me?" I asked.

" Kill Percy Jackson." I paled even more .

"W- wouldn't you want that satisfaction yourself?" I asked.

"Though I would love the satisfaction of watching Jackson die, it would be easier and less messy if someone else did it. Some one on the inside did it. Do we have a deal? Him for them?" I nodded.

"Aw! See! I told you he'd cooperate! Now take him back to the shed. I have a feeling that his friends are coming soon," he said with an evil glint in his eye.

Bellatrix led me out of the room. She shoved me back in the shed and locked it once again. Sierra stared at me.

I'm saving her and Hermione by killing that boy, I thought. She still looked extremely confused. Her usual full of emotion eyes were empty. I felt a tear slip down my cheek.

You're going to save her, I thought. She wouldn't want me to though. That thought kept coming to me.

She had said it a few times. Percy was important. She wasn't. But that wasn't true.

Her, Hermione, Harry, Fred, George, Ginny, everyone else I knew and loved were important. Not him. "He will die," I whispered.

"Who?" Sierra asked suddenly. "What?" I asked. "You said 'He will die.' Who will die?" Right then, the door flew open and Hermione and Percy came in. Then seeing him made me want reconsider.

A hero, or happiness?
