What an Happy Birthday !...

I read the letter a few days ago, and I sadly had to tell her I had better to do than accompany her to a mountain and wait for her return. I wanted to train for Calamity Ganon. I know I could've put an effort to go see her, but I told her I would be here to greet her when she get back. I'm not her escort ! I'm a Champion. She had to make her choice before ! Now, don't ask me to escort you because it is not my job. And .... I may even stay with the group for the little surprise Urbosa prepared. Indeed, I recieved a paper from the Gerudo chief for the Princess' Birthday. Because yes, it's her Birthday today. You see, normal people usually get cake, invite some close friends.... NO. She goes hiking on one of the tallest mountain of Hyrule ! Well, I guess it's not for fun, but it's still seems a bit odd for someone to decide to climb a mountain for her birthday. I won't judge since I never really had a birthday anniversary but... a least I never go in Eldin Volcano that day .

They must already be hiking judgung by the time. I'll go pilot Vah Medoh a bit. It's been a ong time since I didn't touch the Divine beast, and it makes me feel good. The fresh breeze, the majestic view, ... why didn't I think of bringing Mipha up there ?Mipha... I can't wait to see her. I'll probably be shy and won't say her a thing, but I'm going to see her and be with her. It's already a great thing.

"aah.. what am I going to do with her ?" I sometimes feel like I should tell her my feelings, while other days I feel like I'm not worth it. I can't do that. I'm so a shame she would never accept my feelings for her. Well, maybe I can clean up the divine beast a bit. It's dusty and these small guardians are in my way. I put them so they look stored properly and they don't get in my way. I don't necessarily like these machines, but I love things to be clean. 

I've planned to train again and again but all I've done is meditating, sitting or standing up, just looking at the clouds. I forgot to eat. I forgot to drink. I just stared at the sky. I thought about life, what I'm going to do when I protected Hyrule from the Evil being. Will my life have a sense ? I don't know. All I know for now is that I'm going to be late to meet everyone and wait for the princess. I better be going.

At the start of Lanaryu mountain, the other four were there. I felt a bit anxious because it's been a long time since I didn't see Urbosa and Daruk. Urbosa just noticed my entrance:

- Hey. It's been a long time. How are you ?

- I'm pretty good, as always, and you ?

- We're doing well.

She asked me it took me so long to come here.

- I decided to train today. Why such a question, you were worried I wouldn't be here for Little bird's birthday ?

- No I wasn't. She was.

She led her finger toward Mipha, who last looking at me with sparkling eyes. She seemed happy to see me. My face warmed up and my feathers all fluffed. She asked me how I knew Urbosa was calling Zelda her Little bird.  

- I know everything, Goodta Goby.  How are you ? Did you have a great time since the last time ? Did you miss me ? 

Urbosa and Daruk looked at her, questionning. She then explained we spent more time than she initially expected. Urbosa winked : "Oh I see. You two get along quite well ? What did you two  have done during this time ? How long did you get together, hmm ?" 

I was embarrassed. I couldn't respond and Mipha decided to briefly describe what we did. 

- We hem... 

She lookes at me, remembering not to say a word about my hidden house. 

- We walked, we flew a bit and.. Eh. Not that much. I slept the night I came to see him plus a second night because.. he wasn't here the first night and asked me to stay a day.
