(Y/N) P.O.V

Shaking I washed off the font from my door. I even rang at my neighbours if they saw someone doing this. Completely terrified I sat on my couch crying.

Should I tell someone about it? Or was it just a bad prank?

Trembling I reached for my phone and dialled the number of the only person I fully trust.

"He-Hey, can you please come o-over?" My voice was shaky.

"Of course, I will be there in a few minutes." The person answered.

I stopped the call and threw my phone on the couch. Curling myself into a ball I waited for the bell to ring. Finally ringing I stood up and opened the door.

Hugging me the person closed the door behind us and tried to calm me down.

"What happened princess?" His voice was calm.

"Someone send me a creepy message. It sounded so threating. I'm afraid." I cried harder.

He patted my back and hummed my favourite lullaby. His fragrance was soothing and I want to drown in it and forget about the past.

After a few minutes I calmed down and fell asleep in his arms.

Waking up with a dry throat and swollen eyes I tried to stand up. I felt a pair of arms around my waist and saw up to the person, who was holding me.

Lucas.

He really came.

Seeing him sleeping too, I decided not to stand up. Admiring his face I stroked along his strong jawline and moved my hands to his fluffy hair.

Being a bit destroyed by the bleaching it felt dry, but somehow soft.

Lying in my bed I admired Lucas next to me. Planting a soft kiss on his plump lips he woke up with a tired expression.

"What's up my princess? Can't you sleep?" He kissed my temple.

Sighing I lay down on his torso and stroked along his arm.

"I'm thinking about your mother. I'm afraid that she will do something to me. She's unpredictable." My voice was full of sorrow.

"Don't worry too much, she might be crazy, but she won't hurt you. I will protect you no matter what will happen." His heartbeat increased.

"I love you."

"I love you too, princess."

Twitching after remembering our conversation Lucas woke up. His gaze was tired and exhausted. Finally stopping watching him I freed myself out of the embrace.

He's my ex-boyfriend! I'm not supposed to have skinship with him!

Sitting next to him I decided to tell him the truth.

"I just remembered our conversation about your mother a few months ago." My voice was stern.

He scratched his head and tried to remember it. Sighing he fell back on the couch.

"That one where you were afraid that she would do something to you?" His voice was dark.

I nodded and he rubbed his face.

"Do you think that she's the one who's threating you?"

Again I nodded and I could see him thinking. But soon after he shook his head, grabbing my hands he pulled me towards him.

"I told you in school that I have some problems with my family right?" His voice was dry.

"Yes, you told me that this was the reason why you moved here."

"To be honest, mother left the family. I was alone with father and his drinking got worse; I couldn't bare it and moved here. My grandmother left some money for me and with that I paid my apartment."

She left? Why didn't she do it while I was with him? Everything could have been better.

"Do you know why she left?" I asked carefully.

He shook his head and a few tears left his eyes. Closing the distance between us, I hugged him. Forgetting all the pain I went through because of him I opened my heart again.

"Everything will be fine Lucas. We still have each other, don't forget that." My voice was shaky.

Still feeling the love for him, I also shared some tears.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you (Y/N)." Lucas mumbled.

He slung my legs around his waist and closed his arms around my torso. Swaying forth and back he calmed us down. Why is he such a sweetheart?

Why can't I forget him?

Why can't I stop loving him?

Standing up with me, Lucas carried me to the bedroom. Lying down beside each other like in old times, we began drifting to the dreamland.

Waking up I expected to see Lucas beside me. Not seeing him I thought that he might just left me. Being scared I quietly called his name. Why didn't he wake me up?

Walking out of my bedroom I saw him sitting on the couch. He held my phone in his hand and typed on it. What is he doing?

"Lucas, what are you doing?" My voice was a whisper.

Being startled he turned around and held his heart.

"Oh god (Y/N), you startled me! Why are you so silent?" He still was holding his heart.

He patted the seat beside him and signalled me to come to him.

"I installed a safety app on your phone. When you're not feeling safe or are scared, you only need to tap the app and I automatically see your location."

"Uhm thanks?" I wasn't sure how to react.

He let out his famous laugh and started to tickle me. No! This is my absolute weakness.

"Lucas, stoooooop." I couldn't breathe properly.

He stopped and hugged me again. Why is he doing this to me? I can't resist him. After a while a little thought came up in my mind. What's with Jaemin?

3rd Person P.O.V

"She did what?" Jaemin shouted.

He was walking with an unknown person in the forest. He tried his best not to flip out.

"I just heard now. Auntie was talking on the phone about a message and a plan. I didn't understand well what she was saying." The person sighed.

"How can you still call her Auntie? She's the worst person in this whole world." Jaemin asked with gritted teeth.

"It's the same blood. She might be crazy, but we can't do things against boundaries." The person's voice was soft.

"I don't care about that blood." He spat.

"I'm afraid that he won't listen to us, if we're going to involve him. You know that he doesn't know about that part of the family."

"I will find a way to make him listen." Jaemin sighed.
