Jaemin P.O.V

"Do you know some news? I didn't talk that much to (Y/N)." I said.

She cocked an eyebrow up and shook her head.

"Why? I thought you like her that much, brother." Her voice was ironic.

"Areum, don't say things like that." I rolled my eyes.

Sitting on the couch of my grandparents we watched TV. Hitting my arm hard she only laughed.

"You're my twin brother, I know you too well." She stuck out her tongue.

"But we don't spend much time together." I also stuck my tongue out.

"If you say so, but I don't have any news. I only know that she's planning something, but she shooed me out of the room, before she spilled it." Areum sighed.

"I don't get her problem. Why (Y/N)? She didn't do anything. She's so damn innocent and beautiful; I only want to hold her in my arms."

"And you don't like her." She snickered.

I hit her head and she only laughed harder.

"You still didn't tell me, why you didn't talked to her." Areum's voice was teasing.

"Well, Lucas came out of her apartment. I think she called him, being afraid." My voice was a whisper.

"And that made you upset?" Areum patted my back.

"Stop lying to yourself Jaemin. You like her and that's not a bad thing. Nobody stops you loving her. It's not dangerous for her to be loved by you." She said sympathizing.

I was about to say something as her phone rang. Who calls at this time? I heard a male voice on the other end, but I couldn't hear what he said.

"She did what? Yes, we're on our way." Areum jumped up.

"What's wrong Areum? Who called?" I started to panic.

"Auntie just sent a warning to her. Winwin heard her conversation with Siwon." Running outside she told me about the phone call.

"Siwon? Since when is he doing these jobs?"

Rain poured on our heads. Terrified I stepped on the accelerator and drove to (Y/N)'s place. I saw Lucas running in the distant, but we didn't wait for him.

We stormed the stairs up and saw the door open.

"Watch out little girl. I'm only here to warn-"Siwon started.

He held (Y/N) on her neck and she barely held her eyes open. Furiously I grabbed the gun out of my belt and pointed it at Siwon. He only started to laugh.

"Let her go you bastard."

Lucas suddenly stood next to us and was about to attack Siwon, but Areum held him back.

(Y/N) suddenly fainted and Areum couldn't hold Lucas anymore. Storming to Siwon he tried to punch him, but Siwon was faster and ducked.

Letting (Y/N) fall down he started to fight against Lucas.

Running to them I again pointed my gun at Siwon.

"Stop it now! You know I won't hesitate to shoot you." Seeing a little fright in his eyes I smirked.

I might be not in the business, but I'm still a part of the Na-family. Siwon held his hands up and walked away from Lucas. During these seconds he just looked like a lost puppy.

"Your Auntie won't be happy to see you here. She will be especially disappointed in Lucas." With that he ran out of the apartment.

Rushing to (Y/N) I stowed the gun into my belt.

"Stay away from her you psycho!" Lucas suddenly shouted.

"I don't know who you are or what just happened, but you are dangerous."

He picked (Y/N) up. I started to laugh and shook my head, if he would know.

"Lucas, don't be ridiculous. We can explain it to you." Areum calmly said.

I didn't even notice that she still was here. In the main time she closed the door and watched us.

"I-I know you! You're living with my grandparents!" Lucas stuttered.

She just flashed her beautiful smile and nodded. Lucas carried (Y/N) to the couch and sat down. Feeling a weird emotion I decided to sit across them.

Areum sat next to me and inhaled the air.

"I think we need to tell you a few things Lucas. You recognized me right; I'm living with our grandparents." She started.

"Did you say our?"

(Y/N)'s breath was steady and Lucas stroked over her head. Heart, stop beating so fast.

"Yes, we are cousins. Since you barely showed up on family meetings, you didn't get to know us." Areum continued.

"You two a-are the kids of my Auntie Jaehee?" Lucas asked.

We both nodded and Lucas sharply exhaled the air.

"But why did I never see you Jaemin?"

"I didn't want to get involved in the family business. I never was interested so I passed. I can't see mum and your mother fighting over a dumb position." I said.

"They still didn't announce who will be the next boss?" Lucas sighed.

Areum and I shook our head. There was an awkward silence and Areum started to cough.

"Jaemin, we should tell him the truth. He may know a way." She carefully said.

"What truth?" Lucas cocked his head up.

"First of all, can you tell me the reason why you broke up with (Y/N)? I don't seem like that you only see her as your friend." Areum tried to shush me.

Taken a back he nearly let (Y/N) fall down his lap. Inhaling the air he started to speak.

"Mother never liked her and one day she threatened me to leave her and if I won't do it she would hurt (Y/N)." His voice broke.

"So I left her. It was the hardest decision in my whole life, but I didn't want that something would happen to her. My mum is capable of anything. She disappeared a month ago and then I tried to find (Y/N)." He whispered.

I looked at Areum and she nodded.

"Since then you didn't hear a thing from her? Did she say a reason to you, why you should leave (Y/N)?" Areum asked.

"No, she never told me the reason and I never heard since then from her. Why did you ask? I barely have contact to the business; I thought she had to do a job."

"We know where your mother is, Lucas." I said.

"Is she hiding or what?"

Sighing I looked at (Y/N) and stroked over her head. Areum is right; I need to stop lying to myself.

"She's living in a house near our grandparents. She plans something."

"What do you mean? I thought she is one of the job doers?" Lucas voice was weird.

"I don't know if you know the people of your mother. But this guy earlier is one of them." Areum pressed out.

"She's the one behind the threats?" Lucas shouted.

I started to nod and Lucas' jaw dropped.
