Epilogue

(Y/N) P.O.V

2 years later

We graduated a few weeks ago and now we planned a trip to Jeju-Island. It was Haechan's home and he said at summer everything looked even more beautiful.

I was sad and looked at the calendar.

Tomorrow it would be day. Two years without him.

I heard someone calling my name and I turned around. Forcing a smile I looked at the person and hugged it. The fragrance was known and lulling.

"Hey babe, what are you doing?" He asked.

"I was thinking about our trip to Jeju. I don't know what I should take with me." I answered.

He hugged me tighter and rested his chin on my head. He grew in the last year a few centimetres and now he was nearly as tall as Johnny. I shook my head and tried to forget him.

"You were thinking about him, or? Don't you think it's time to let go?" My boyfriend asked.

I sighed and snuggled myself nearer.

He sat down on a chair and pulled me onto his lap. His dark hair was a bit too long and fell into his eyes. I stroked it behind his ears.

"I know, but it's hard. I loved him." My voice was a whisper.

"You won't be crazy like her or?" He tried to lift up my mood.

I just shook my head and smiled a bit. His hair was fluffy and freshly washed.

"Theme change, do you have some news?" I asked.

My arms still were slung around his neck and his warmth made me relax.

"I think Jeno just admitted that he likes Mary and Renjun of course totally freaked out, because he predicted it. I also think that Haechan and Taehee had a fight. The group chat is so silent." He laughed.

"You're so informed. I should go out more often with you." I smiled.

"You're right babe. Do you think it will work out between these two?" He asked me.

I nodded. Mary and Jeno would be a cute couple; both of them are cute and pretty unfunny.

"Can we visit him? Tomorrow is the anniversary, but I need to work." I sighed.

My boyfriend just nodded and helped me up.

A few minutes later we were on our way to the cemetery. It was warm outside and lukewarm wind was blowing.

I held hands with him and he looked lost in his thoughts.

"I will get over it. You don't need to worry." I softly said.

"I know that (Y/N). I just thought about him too. I don't want to admit it, but I miss this idiot too." I could see his glassy eyes.

I kissed him softly and then we continued to walk.

Soon we were standing in front of his grave. I laid down some flowers and cowered on the ground. Tears also filled my eyes and I wished them away.

"How is it up there? Do you watch over us?"

I saw some birds flying and they were sitting on his grave stone. The doves sat down and some of them were cooing. I smiled at them.

"I think we can think of it as a yes." I smiled.

Standing up I got to my boyfriend. He hugged me and patted over my back.

"Do you think he likes it up there, Jaemin?" I asked him.

Jaemin just stroked over my back and didn't think a second.

"Of course, I bet Lucas loves it. There is more food than here." Jaemin answered me.

I just giggled and turned away. On the tombstone were the name of his sister and his mother. Sadness came over me and I just tried not to collapse.

"I said I will shoot you, if you come one step closer!" Lucas' mother said.

And then everything happened too fast.

Two louds thuds were disturbing the silence.

I fired my gun at the leg of Lucas' mother and she shot in the direction of Jaemin.

I screamed.

Lucas suddenly pushed Jaemin away. Then he smiled, mouthed me an "I love you" and then collapsed.

His mother limped to him and started to cry.

"Everything is your fault!" She screamed.

Then she took her gun and held it again her head.

BANG

I fainted.

Jaemin towed me away and held me. I was so thankful that he never complained about my behaviour. He accepted it and helped me.

We walked for a few minutes and slowly it started to get dark.

"Thank you Jaemin. I don't know if I would have survived this." I said.

We stood at a tree and Jaemin was trying to find the right words.

"No problem. I will do everything for you, to be happy. You're the most important part of my life and if you're happy, I'm happy too."

"I love you so much." Our gazes locked.

"I love you too." He softly kissed me.

Maybe everything will be fine.
