Beau: You woke on the morning of your birthday to find your phone full of new messages. You had one from your brother, one from Luke, Jai, Daniel, and James, and some from your friends. The only that was missing, was Beau’s. You shrugged it off at first, thinking that maybe he wasn’t awake yet. You walked downstairs to see your mom had made you your special birthday breakfast. You sat and ate while staring at your phone in anticipation.

Your mom seemed to notice. “Something wrong, dear?”

You shook your head a little. “Just waiting for Beau to call.”

Your mom gave you a small smile. “I’m sure he will. It’s still early just give it time.” You slowly nodded, taking another bite of your food. After you were finished your mom grabbed your plate, “Get dressed, I’ve booked us a special birthday spa for you.” You smiled and race upstairs. During your spa you were sure to keep your phone by you. You were there for three hours and still no call. Not even a text. You sighed as you got in the car and rested your head on the window wondering why your boyfriend hadn’t talked to you yet.

When you got home your mom unlocked the door and you walked inside. You slumped down on the couch until you heard voices coming from the kitchen. “Listen, I really don’t know why you brought me here. I mean she is my girlfriend and I can see her whenever I want. I was going to come over tomorrow.” You recognized that voice as your boyfriend. You silently got up and crept over to the door that separated the living room and the kitchen. You opened it a little to see the boys standing around the table having a serious conversation.

"You honestly don’t know why we dragged you here. Today.”, Luke said eyeing his brother.

"No! I don’t."

"Maybe because it’s my birthday.", you said opening the door all the way.

All five boys spun around to see you. Beau’s mouth dropped. “W-what? I thought it wasn’t for another week?”

You shook your head, hurt evident in your voice. “You know, I suspected someone would forget, but I didn’t think it would be you.” You ran upstairs to your room slamming your door and and laying on your bed, tears streaming down your face.

A few minutes later there was a knock on your door. “Y/N, can I come in?”

"No, go away, Beau."

You sat up at the sound of your door being opened. “Hey I thought I said-” You were cut off by the miserable look on Beau’s face. He even had a tear coming out of his eye.

"Listen, Y/N. I am so sorry I forgot. You must think I’m the worst boyfriend in the world."

You sighed and patted the spot next to you on the bed. Beau sat next to you and reached for your hand. “You’re not a bad boyfriend. You’re a great one. Everyone makes mistakes and at least you realized yours.”

Beau gave a small smile. “You’re an amazing person, babe. And I promise I’ll make this up to you.”

Beau pulled you off the bed and towards your door. “Where are we going?”

"Come on, your birthday’s not over yet." You smiled and made your way downstairs where everyone was waiting to celebrate.
