JULIET'S P.O.V.

I woke up sweating. Hell, I swore that place was hell. I sat down recognizing I was still in the hut we had hidden in the night before.

I looked around, the sun coming through the broken window. I sighed. By my side, a free spot. Where was him? I should have tied him up. I laughed at that thought.

I stood up, fixed my wasted clothes and put on my cowboy boots.

There was a soft murmuring coming from outside, so I walked and looked from the window before opening the door.

There he was, fixing again the old engine of our car.

– Again? – I asked and he lifted his head hitting it against the car bonnet.

– Ouch – he complained with one hand on his head.

– Oh my god, are you okay? – I asked almost running to him.

– Yeah, yeah, you scared me, you know? – he looked at me smiling.

– Better me than one of them, don't you think? – I asked smiling as I hugged him. My arms around his neck.

– Way better – he leaned and our lips where almost together when there was a noise from somewhere near us.

We both turned around just to find Mikey putting some bags in his car, next to ours.

I put a hand in my chest. That asshole scared the shit out of me.

– You guys better move your asses, we're leaving – Ray appeared from nowhere and put more things inside Mikey's car.

– Woah, Mr. Killjoy is angry today – Frankie said closing the car bonnet.

– Shut the fuck up Frankie, don't you remember where are we going? We need to rescue Gerard before they kill him – he said and sat in the passenger seat of Mikey's car.

I looked at Mikey, his eyes were filled with sadness instantly after Ray said that. Frankie was going to counterattack with some random comment as always, but I touched his arm and denied.

 – Let's eat something before leaving. Ray, Mikey? – I asked them.

– No, we'll stop and eat something during the way, we'll spend the night in Bourne Lake – Ray said.

– Mikey, don't you want anything either? – I questioned. His sad eyes met mine. He denied.

– I'm fine – he sat down in the driver seat and closed the door before turning on the engine.

I sighed. Ray had been angry most of the time since they took Gerard, and then we had Mikey, he was quieter, if possible, and always sad.

Frankie was more serious, we all were, but he tried to make it easier for us. I was trying to be the one of always, but with those two, that was impossible.
