JULIET'S P.O.V.

– So, you forgive me? – He asked as I buried my face in his chest.

I nodded not wanting to let him go. He kissed the top of my head.

– I'm really sorry Juliet – he lifted my chin making me look at his beautiful eyes. Mine were red and puffed from crying.

– I know, I just...it doesn't matter, lets go back to the hut – I said and caught his hand as I tried to make him move.

He didn't move and stopped me from walking, turning me around.

– You just what? – he asked curious. I sighed.

– I won't ever make you promise me anything more, Frankie, I'm tired of that – he frowned and rubbed his forehead.

He opened his mouth but I stopped him, there was nothing he could do to make me change my opinion; at least in that moment.

FRANKIE'S P.O.V.

We came back to the hut and found that Mikey's car and the 4x4 were gone. Fuckers. I worked on that car, I should have been the one driving it.

We caught our things, put them in our car and continued our way to Battery City. One day left or so and we would be there.

We had to stop once during the travel because the engine decided he needed a rest. While I repaired it, Juliet disappeared for a moment and then came back with some wood.

– What's that for? – I asked frowning.

– It'll be dark soon, at least we'll have to have dinner here if we want to reserve some gasoline for our travel – she said and started preparing the fire.

I managed to repair the engine and then we had dinner. I have to recognize that it was nice eating watching the stars.

~x~

– What are we going to do? – Juliet asked setting down her plate.

– About what? – I asked curious, eating another bite of my food.

 – If someone of us drives tonight, we'll be able to be in Battery City tomorrow, but if we do it, the one driving will be tired tomorrow – I thought about it, it was true.

 – Hmm...I don't really know... – I scratched my hair thinking.

 – Okay, I have an idea – she said still thinking. I smiled which caused her to smile too apparently.

– As I need less sleep, I'll drive three or four hours more while you sleep and then I'll park in somewhere safe and sleep too, what do you think? – she asked.

I finished my food and nodded agreeing. It was more or less acceptable, and I knew she was right.

– I have the most intelligent girl in the world – I said putting my arm around her shoulders.

She rolled her eyes smiling and then pecked my cheek.

– Hey, at least I have the sexiest boyfriend – She patted my head. I laughed and stuck out my tongue.

– Let's start moving – she pouted but stood up and we went to the car after turning off the fire.

JULIET'S P.O.V.

It's been four hours since we started moving after we had dinner. I was starting to feel tired. Even when there were no clocks or watches no more, it was late and I knew it. I stopped the car when I found a place you could call safe.

I made sure we were safe inside the car by locking doors and windows. I leaned in my seat. It has been a long day, a long long day. I glanced at Frankie. He looked so cute while sleeping.

After yawning I recognized that I needed to rest to, and not so much time after I fell asleep peacefully.

GERARD'S P.O.V.

I couldn't remember how much time I've been here. I laid in my “bed” for the fifth time and stood up not too much after. I was bored. Bored and worried. How much time would they let me live if I didn't tell them anything? What was I supposed to tell anyway? I didn't know where my friends were. As killjoys, we never stayed too much time in a place. It wasn't safe.

I looked out the small window to find a beautiful night sky.

– How I wish I could be outside – I whispered to myself, not wanting anyone to listen to me.

I looked the surroundings not knowing what I was searching, and for a moment my mind played with me. For a moment I thought I had seen lights in the mountain.

I went back to bed and laid down. If someone decided to save me, I had all planed. They thought I didn't know where they had my things, but I knew it pretty well. In really, the only too things that worried me were: Korse and the Asiatic woman that was always with him.

<<Ah, Gerard, let's live one more day, okay?>> I silently laughed at my thought.
