FRANKIE'S P.O.V.

When we entered the building we almost immediately had to start shooting. They were a lot, more than I thought actually.

We separated a little, trying to cover as much space as possible. From somewhere I heard Juliet's voice between shots.

– I'll go find Gerard! – she yelled to us. No! I didn't want her to go alone! It was too dangerous!

I tried to go after her but I was soon surrounded by more enemies.

Shots, shots and more shots.

I didn't know how much time we spent there but when we finished with the enemies, more came. I was getting tired, my fingers hurt.

My forces came back when I saw a feminine figure appearing followed by a red haired one. They were alive!

Juliet and Gerard started shooting and they were a very important help.

We were getting near to the door when suddenly a bald man that seemed to be the most important one there caught Gerard and put him against a wall.

He tried to defend himself but the man put a ray gun under his head and shot almost at the same time as Mikey started running in his direction.

I closed my eyes in the moment he shot and then continued shooting.

<< At least we tried to save you, Gerard >> I thought to myself.

We were being surrounded. We weren't going to win this time, and we knew it.

Sad. I know, right?

Almost in the moment Mikey touched Gerard's dead body, someone shot him. I heard Juliet screaming.

Another one, we were going to die here...at least someone could be saved.

I pushed Ray and Juliet to the door, covering their backs, shooting as I've never shot in my life.

– Save her – I yelled to Ray, who nodded with sad eyes.

We all ran to the door but when they were outside I closed the door, leaving me inside. Juliet turned around, I guess she heard the sound of the door being closed. She looked at me with wide eyes and tears started running down her cheeks.

– FRANK! – she yelled, trying to avoid Ray's grip.

Ooh, how I hated seeing her crying. It broke my heart. I mouthed “I love you” and turned around, shooting and trying to hold back the tears that were willing to run down my cheeks.

One shot hit me in the shoulder. Fuck. I recovered myself and continued shooting, but soon another shot hit me again, and I knew that that was my ending.

<< My dear, if you can hear me just walk away >> I thought as I fell to my knees and left Death carry me to a better place.

RAY'S P.O.V.

I knew we were losing, but what were we supposed to do? I've seen how Gerard and Mikey died, and sincerely I wasn't going to leave their bodies here, at least I was going to try to save that of them.

Frankie motioned to the door, and we ran to it, hopeless. I guess I couldn't even give them a good funeral...

Frankie touched my shoulder, making me turn around.

– Save her – he was begging me with his eyes. I nodded, filled with all the sadness of the situation. He was giving his life to save us.

I directed Juliet to the door and saw how Frankie closed it after she went out. She heard it.

– FRANK! – she yelled crying, avoiding my grip. I caught her as I could and ran.

A boy we've seen before with a helmet was making us signs to come with them in their car. I pushed her in his direction, but there were enemies shooting behind us.

I gave Juliet to him and turned around, shooting. I was giving my life to defend what was left of The Killjoys.

I resisted, but they were too much. I couldn't hold them back anymore and fell defeated.

I do not regret anything I've done. I'd do it again.
