c a m p i n g

You and the boys had been friends for almost five years now and to celebrate you decided it would be a good idea to go camping.

However once reaching the campsite you thought differently. You and the three boys had crammed into your car along with a tent, four luggage's and other necessary camping items. An hour into the drive it had started raining and didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

"Soooo anyone know how to put up a tent in the rain?" Reece asks

"Anyone know how to put up a tent in general?" Blake replies

"What" You turn to him from the driver seat to look at him sat in the back

"I've never put one up before" He says

"You aren't serious" George says from beside him

"Usually my parents do it" He shrugs

"At least I have two real men who can help" You mumble

"Does George count though?" Reece mumbles back from the passenger seat

"Huh?" George looks up at his name

"Eh" You jokingly reply

"Let's just get food and do it later?" Blake suggests

"That'd be a good idea if it wasn't 5pm and getting dark in a few hours" You reply

"We can't put it up in the rain though" Blake says

"Oh B, you haven't been proper camping before then" You smirk

"Ready Reece?" You turn to him

"I guess so" He looks at me

"Peg down the ground sheet whilst i unpack the tent and poles" You instruct him

You both hop out the car and open the boot, firstly pulling out the tent bag, handing Reece the ground sheet and some pegs he hammers it down on the pitch. You unfold the tent and lay it out over the top once he had done, working together to push the poles into the slots over the tent and hammer as much down as you go so it doesn't blow away. Finally hammering in the strings to keep the tent stretched out and an hour later you had a tent to sleep in for the weekend.

"Did pretty well if i must say so myself" Reece turns to you dripping wet

"Now we need to unpack the rest" You laugh

"Shall we pop the gazebo up quickly so no rain gets in?" He asks

"Probably a good idea" You reply

You both build the gazebo and place it across the top of the door leading into the tent to prevent any rain falling in whilst you unpack, you then open the tent door and unload everything from the boot of your car into the material house you'd be living in for three days.

"Finally" You sigh once closing the boot door

"I can't believe they both slept the whole time" Reece sighs looking at them in the back seats

"Useless" You joke

"Shall we just set up the bedrooms and then get changed?" Reece suggests looking down at both of your soaking wet outfits

"Sounds good, we'll send the other two to get food" You reply

You started unpacking your double airbed whilst Reece did the other two single ones, you had a double bedroom and two singles in this tent however decided to just keep it all one big open space and leave the compartments down

Once the beds were up, you got to work making them with duvets and pillow whilst Reece set up the mini table and chairs aswell as a kettle and toaster that plugged into the extension lead connected up from the mains outside your tent. You also dangled some battery operated fairy lights across the top for the artsy effect and threw some blankets over the chairs knowing it'd be cold tonight.

Two hours later everything was set up and looked good. You and Reece went and woke the boys up and told them to walk down to the fish and chip shop on site and buy you all some dinner whilst you and Reece quickly went and had a warm shower and put on some comfy clothes.

You arrived back at the tent and Reece was sat in there on the double bed, grey joggers and his UCLA jumper. You were currently in grey joggers and a yellow hoodie.

"Hey look we kinda match" He joked

"Goals" You reply

You join him on the air bed as you both scroll through your phones waiting for Blake and George to return, you start getting a little cold since you couldn't dry your hair and it's not exactly the best weather. You stand up and grab a blanket off one of the chairs.

"You cold?" Reece asks

"A little, if we don't get ill from this i'll be surprised" You joke

"Come cuddle" He smiles opening his arms

You smile back at him and lay down on the airbed once his shuffled round and is laying on his back, you lay against his side and rest your head on his chest, your hand laying on his stomach. His arm wraps round your back as the other holds his phone that you both look at whilst he scrolls through his instagram explore feed.

You don't know when but you dosed off a some point because five minutes later Reece was shaking you awake as Blake lays the small table for you all to have dinner.

"Thank you to Reece and Y/N for the house building and to me and George for the food" Blake cheers ones you all sit down

You silently eat your food, occasionally mentioning something or one of the boys cracking a joke. Once finished it was about 8pm and it was safe to say you were all extremely tired so George and Blake got changed and you called it a day, all snuggling down into a bed.

"Guess the dream team is sharing then" Reece smiles down at you, back in the position you were before only now under a duvet and feeling very warm.
