41 A Metal Arm

Hanji and the crew continued to do experiments on Eren and his titan powers with varying results. During the incident at utgard castle pastor nick told Levi & Hanji about how Christa was somehow related to the titans in the wall. We haven't heard from him since so Mina Petra and I decided to take a horse and leave the cabin to make sure everything was OK within the walls. Under Levi's orders of course.

The last battle we're Hanns died still has our powers drained so we can't access anything galaxy related. Right now it's me my wits my friends and my shield.

As we made our way through the forest we found this secret out of mine and got off the horses.

"This is it" I said.

"Wait a minute... Somethings wrong" Mina said.

The lights were on and there was this strange jaz music coming out the house.

"Everyone get down!" I said.

Everyone crouched and we solid snaked our way near the house.

We walked closer to the house taking out our blades and Petra opened the window for me.

I was the first to go in, so I could shield them if anything went wrong, they were close behind me after I entered.

We leaned against the walls and peaked through the corner to see

"Pastor Nick?" I said.

I dropped my gaurd and got into a more relaxed position.

"I don't remember giving you a key" I said.

He was bloody and coughing but none of us were helping him, the bastard wanted Eren dead so why should we care.

"I didn't receive one, I was invited" Nick said showing me a note that read 'ears everywhere'.

"... Who else knows about this" I asked.

Nick stood up from his chair.

"Just... You and me" Nick said.

"He's acting strange" Petra said.

"It's Pastor Nick he's always been strange" Mina said.

Suddenly out of nowhere Nick was shot through the wall multiple times.

His body dropped and I dragged him around the corner to help him.

"Crap what was that!?" Mina asked.

"A damn shooter most likely" Petra said.

Nick grabbed my wrist and looked at me.

"Mind. Control. Is. Real!" Nick said with his dying breath.

"Oh god..." Mina said.

"Do we have a 20 on the shooter?" Petra asked.

I looked out the window and saw someone start to run away on the roof.

"I'm in pursuit" I said.

I jumped through the window with my shield landing on the other, building and began running.

My shield was on my left arm. I looked up and could see the shooter running on the roof. He was still ahead of me.

I ran through a door, breaking it down with ease, I turned left and to avoid breaking my speed I sidestepped off the wall and on jumped off the table.

There was some glass in the way and I ran through it too with getting a scratch. This shield really helps me break through places without hurting myself, that and my speed.

A super soldiers blood was clearly running through me. Sometimes I myself forget how strong I am.

I jumped over a table ruining a stack of papers and continued running. Whoever this guy was he was just as fast as me.

A ran into a wall creating a huge dent in it with my shield, but continued running breaking down another door.

I picked up the pace and saw a window. I saw the assassin roll over and had him in my sights.

I jumped out the window, landed on top the roof, rolled over, put my shield on my right hand, and threw it at him.

He caught it with his metal arm gave me a cold stare.

I was shocked. That shield was able to cut through Titans yet he caught it like it was nothing.

He had a mask on and was dressed in an all black MP uniform with ODM gear too. I could barely see because of how dark it was but he clearly had an eyepatch on as well on his left eye along with some dark eye shadow.

He threw it right back at me twice as hard, and I had to use both my hands to catch it. If it wasn't for my costum made gloves, I probably would've died just now.

I looked forward and saw he was gone. I tried going after him but after looking down I saw that he was nowhere to be seen. Damn he was fast.

"What happened!?" I heard Petra say behind me. Her and the others grappled towards me and I gave them the details.

"So he got away..." Mina said.

"Whoever they were must've strong, as strong as you (Y/N) it's not like somebody to outspeed you even with ODM" Petra said.

"Speaking of which you broke down door through door, why didn't you just use your ODM?" Mina asked.

I looked forward than towards them.

"I'd rather not waste gas in case of a real emergency, this just confirms my theory, come on were headed to wall Cina, we need to break Annie out" I said.

Everyone gasped.

Petra had a look of anger in her eyes.

"Are you crazy!? The female Titan!? Do you even hear what your saying!?" Petra yelled.

I jumped down and walked toward our horses.

"Hey! Listen to me when I'm talking to you!" Petra said.

I sighed and looked at her.

"Listen Petra... Do you trust me?" I asked.

"What!?" She said.

"I said. Do. You. Trust. Me" I said.

Petra looked down and blushed.

"...Yes" She said.

"Ok than listen up guys, were gonna break out Annie but we're outside the law on this one. You in?" I asked.

Everyone including Petra nodded and we got on our horses.

"So why are we breaking out Annie exactly?" Mina asked me.

"Pastor Nick was suppose to be dead, but he wasn't why is that exactly" Petra asked putting her thumb on her chin and thinking.

"That guy the assassin, he was part of the MP" I said making everyone gasp.

"What are you sure?" Mina asked.

"Yeah, here's the thing though from the way he dresses, from how fast he was it's all like me, he's probably the strongest MP there if not than one of them" I said.

"So?" Petra asked.

"So that means he set Pastor Nick up like that as a trap but failed just to see if we were actually coming or not" I said.

"Why are the MP trying to kill us?" Mina asked.

"If the MP is against us we can't let them have custody of a Titan like Annie, they could kill her or accidentally have other people killed. I'm not stupid I know she's a traitor but if there's even a small chance we can get her on our side I'm gonna take it" I said.

Everyone seemed to understand now and continued riding without hesitation.
