As I held on to my horse during night time my concentration never faltered, right now I'm just angry focused and ready to plunge myself into any battle.

"Sorry you got stuck with my horse" Eren said.

He's acting more caring lately towards Mikasa... I hope it stays that way.

"Don't worry about it your supposed to be saving your energy" Mikasa informed.

"Yeah I know" Eren said.

"She's right, rest up Eren" Connie said.

"Don't say his name, idiot" Jean said.

"Oh yeah sorry"

"Assume this place is swarming with enemies" Jean said.

Swarming with enemies, heh I know what that's like try being chased by an army of people with guns and on top of that have ODM gear.

"Titan on the left everybody halt! Everyone light up the area" Jean yelled.

I grabbed my shield on impulse as everyone else raised there guard up as well.

"Its alright its asleep. This lad must not be one of those types that move at night" Hanji said.

'Its not an enemy surprise attack either, they don't seem to be intelligence' I thought starting to walk again.

"I can't believe we didn't see it till that close up" Eren said.

"Show of hands how many people noticed it before Jean did?" I asked.

Raymond, Kai,Dom, and I all raised our hands.

"Call something out like that next time!" Mina said.

"Yes ma'am" We all said.

"Still I'm glad it can't move" Kendrix said.

"Yeah thank the moonlight for that" Oleo said.

"Using the new moon was a smart move" Hanji admitted praising Armin.

"The last thing we want is a repeat of that night" Nanaba said.

I noticed Eren trembling. Its finally getting to him, he finally realizes how dangerous this job is, everything before this has been nothing but blind rage.

Armin talked to him and managed to calm his nerves just in time for Mikasa to notice something.

"This place... looks familiar ,I think we searched for fire wood here" Mikasa said.

"THE MOUNTAIN TOP! I SEE IT! THERE'S SIGNS OF A TRAIL" A scout up ahead said.

Eren and I both gave each other 'the look'

"We're so close" Eren said.

"I can hear the river" Mikasa

"I get first crack at Reiner" Eren said.

"We're counting on you" Mina said.

"I'm feeling excited" Kai said.

"Reiner knows we're coming odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for... but the rookies didn't. So our priority is keeping them alive. All they want is live there lives in peace and that's not gonna happen today, but we can do our best to protect them, and we can get the job done. We find out whats in that basement we find Reiner and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us" I said, I looked down at the mountain and saw my home town.

I felt a sense of nostalgia, but than realized why this all happened in the first place

"Reiner thinks we're monsters that we're what's wrong with the world... this isn't just about winning... its weather he's right" I said.
